I literally slipped enterting this thread on the rabid foam and excitement from these posters trashing Harris to help a literal rapist get elected. ******* bizarre.

Literally!!! They act like she's not a woman of color going up against a man who has one of the biggest cults to ever grace this country :deadbanana2:

Okay, but again, whose votes is she trying to get? Trump has already himself to be vehemently anti-trans in all aspects, why is Kamala also catering towards anti-trans rhetoric? People who hate trans people are going to vote for Trump, she's not winning over anybody when talking like this, and is in fact doing the opposite and turning off voters who ARE in the Democratic base already.

I see where you're coming from, but given even the anti-trans movement even WITHIN the LGBTQ community is huge enough, there's really not much she can say that'll gain or lose votes. Like I said, it's very evident she (imo) is for the LGBTQ community. But as someone who is not just a woman but an Asian/Black woman, she's only working with as much as unfortunately she feels as what she's got.

That sounds like a conspiracy theory to me. US politics are just nastier than the average and I'm hesitant to believe whatever is put out in these smear campaigns. But I'd like to be proven wrong if that's really the case :cm:

She's a scam artist with no chance of winning the election. She exists to cause disruption.

And once again, liberals who see anyone from the left who criticizes any democratic politicians as "Trump supporters" or "closeted republicans". Aren't you guys not tired?! seriously?!

Can yall share those DNC checks? And if you're not getting paid, can I advise having some dignity to at least get paid? At least get a meal out of it?

Lmao girl be sooo forreal rn! :ahh:

You can critique Kamala cause it's your freedom to, but I hope to GOD that you don't use this statement as an excuse to vote for Trump. WHO more than likely wants to start a CIVIL WAR in the same country he's trying to govern. :deadbanana2:

Nobody is getting paid, they just want to roam the streets without a target on their back.

Why do you call by her first name? Do you do the same for Donald?  It's an interesting phenomenon seeing how Harris detractors like to use her first name. Maybe it's telling of your own biases?

I just wish we had some politicians with strong core beliefs and principles instead of just saying (or not saying) whatever they can to get votes.

It's actually embarrassing, imagine not being able to criticize anyone from your own political party :deadbanana4:

It's giving stans on here who can't ever criticize their faves at all.

It's actually embarrassing reading your post when I've said since this summer I was nervous about Biden dropping out bc I wasn't a fan of Harris and didn't think Americans would go for her, but go off with your assumptions for those reactions, sis!!

I hope you genuinely don't think the user you responded to is voting for Trump… no one is saying we're voting for Trump because of this Kamala opinion, we're just saying it's a sh*tty opinion to have as a democrat. We are criticizing the party we will vote for since we want to see them do better, that doesn't mean that we suddenly turned republican. :deadbanana:

As if Biden was the better option… He was TANKING and genuinely was not fit for running because of health concerns.

Let's be real, Harris is a MUCH better choice and gives Dems a fighting chance, even if she's lowkey shooting herself in the foot right now.

I'm pretty sure that's the main  sentiment in this thread, no one here is going to turn red because of this.

My criticism is the (in my opinion) lofty judgement over what she said in a forum dominated by A LOT of wh*te gays. The culture of ATRL has continuously been influenced and driven by the ideas and perception of wh!te Men on here.

You can critique what Kamala has said, but with my literal decade of being on here, some of these people's critiques are more than just critiques but excuses to just vote for who they identify with the closest (a whi*te man). Unfortunately.

Like I said, you can critique her all you want. But I guarantee if Trump said the same exact thing there would be a different reaction.

UK Labour is sending over more and more staff to "help" her campaign. I wouldn't be surprised if this turn to the right and throwing trans people under the bus was because of them.

Any Democrat staffer who listens to the charlatans from Starmer's Labour is severely mistaken: over a six week campaign Labour's average vote share tanked by 10 percentage points and it only won a majority because the right was split between the Conservatives and Reform.

I think you are wildly overestimating the influence of a few Labour staffers.

You were nervous about going from an assured landslide loss to at least maybe a coin flip? Weird, but ok :cm:

The main sentiment in this thread has been Harris is anti-trans when that is not the truth. The OP has a personal vendetta against Harris, and has been insistently posting bad-faith posts about her, and the usual suspects jumped on the train immediately to trash Harrish in bad faith.

I think the Democrats and Republicans do that part really well by themselves so I dunno about that. I see the Democrats smearing Jill with those conspiracies and cheap low blows because they can't attack her policies. :cm:

There are no policies.  You wanna argue about something you don't know, fine!

I'm ignorant of this, I did not perceive people on here trying to justify a Trump vote because of the Kamala criticism.

If that's the case, I apologize, but I genuinely thought that when we were discussing these issues we have with Kamala Harris, it was more about wanting her to do more for LGBTQ people. I for one do NOT support people criticizing her in order to justify a Trump vote btw.
