eh, of the two, only ariana has a reason to lie like this. elvira is a legend who has been around for decades so she doesn't really have any reason to lie about this.

Elvira is a legend for being in the background for decades, but Ariana Grande and her 100m+ units sold are not? Love the good sis Cassandra but there's a difference between a cult icon and one one of the most famous people to have ever lived. :mummy:

well, just because she went through something like that doesn't mean i can't dislike her personalities, you know? plus, i don't need to know her personally to see she gives a bad vibe with this desperate mean girl facade she's trying to pull off :michael:

She was well enough to ask for special treatment for her guests but then snapped back into anxiety when asked something back :deadbanana4:

And it was Ariana's experience that she was reeling from a literal terrorist attack at her concert where people died and she wasn't in the right headspace.

Elvira posting this to her Instagram grid is 100% clout chasing, and should be beneath her but clearly isn't, so people are right to call her out. She's clearly enjoying the attention it's bringing her.

The meet and greet was in 2016 before the Manchester event..

Quote

On Sunday, October 20, Cassandra Peterson, better known as Elvira, unveiled a less-than-magical moment with Ariana Grande at a 2016

For posting it on insta, but answering the question? No. The cheek of Ariana to ask for photos for all her guests then say no to one. Ari is obviously pissed at something negative being posted about her, but if the story is true, then she is the bad one here. So entitled.

Did you read Ariana’s post? She had already left and wasn’t present when the photos were happening - there was no opportunity for her to say no to.

Granted this contradicts Elvira’s version of events.

I wish Ariana never acknowledged this. She just gave it so much more life than it needed and/or deserved. She's so much better than this.

Says who? Because Ariana Grande, the person being senselessly attacked and allowed to be called a "*****" on this forum over and over again by miserable misogynistic gay basement dwellers, said it was around 7 years ago. Until there's proof, there's simply no reason not to believe her.

Yes and it's no apology. Lbr she should've said nothing if that is the best she can do

I feel sorry for Elvira.

Comments from that post are full of Arianators ordering her to apologize.

In fact, being a smaller performing artist, she gave Ariana's family 20 free tickets for free when Ariana should have paid.

But people are attacking Elvira after she finally voiced her grievances.

Honey Elvira is an icon. "Smaller performing artist" ohhhhh….

Can she not defend herself after Elvira posted this to her IG feed to publicly shame Ariana and promote her own show? I would absolutely respond if someone was using my name negatively to promote themselves. Elvira should have not posted it to IG and left it as is, but no she didn't.

I guarantee you that up until this mess, not everyone knew Elvira's name... myself included.

Embarrassing for you. Elvira is literally a legend.

I agree that Ariana shouldn’t need to apologise, especially with how nasty Elvira has been considering the circumstances.

She ate that shady second paragraph :ahh:

Strangely enough, I don't actually think Ariana was being shady, but was being humourous. Her Mum is seeing Elvira's reponse and thinking "Wow, this pos", but Ariana did say she was gonna talk to her Mum and explain the full situation.

Alright news week reported it in 2016 thats where my quote was from

I should hope that you'll spend the same amount of time you spent spreading lies about Ariana Grande online to contact newsweek and tell them that they were fed bad info by Elvira/her team who is trying to smear somebody who already had infinitely more than her fair share of public abuse. I'll be doing the same and I didn't even contribute to the spread of disinformation.

Well we all know she's a horrible person and has always been a diva so this is not new. Why stir the pot over something that happened 7 years ago? Elvira shouldn't have named her by name and Ariana should've ignored her (or at least not posted a passive aggressive mean girl apology)

What a passive-aggressive, condescending response. Disgusting

This baffles me. Elvira could've asked what's up privately, but instead she chose to blast it in public 7 years later for the world to hear without knowing what was really going on and then doubled down posting it on her social media (I'm guessing for clicks). Ariana's shadiness was more than appropriate.

Elvira was in her right to bring up Ariana being rude if that's the first thing she thought of when asked if a celebrity was ever rude to her. Ariana has the right to publicly apologize and try to squash this so the media doesn't run wild with it since it's really not a big deal. I have anxiety too and although it doesn't necessarily make me come off as rude to people, everyone's mental health issues are different and incomparable. Tearing either of them down for this is stupid.

I think the "shady comment" was meant to be a joke to break the tension. That's how I read it anyway.

She just made herself look worse with the shade. That's not defending yourself.

Here is a tweet from 2020 claiming to have sat next to and attended a meet & greet with Ariana's FAMILY and TEAM, not Ariana herself.
