I'm not saying that I want to punch this person, but I'm not not saying it.

They voted for Bush after the invasion of Iraq and they will most likely vote for this too.

Then ten years later they will say they never supported it.

:suburban:

We're being force fed 2 choices that both support it. There are vast numbers of Americans who do legitimately support these atrocities, but it's because they've been brainwashed by mainstream US news media. Just like everywhere else in the world outside of Isntreal, people who are informed do NOT support this.

The corporations breathing down uncle sam's neck to make sure we continue enabling this genocide for profit are the same corporations who gaslit the American public into supporting pointless and imperialistic wars for most of the past 20 years that killed our own in the thousands and supercharged the growth of income inequality. American citizens are not the enemy.

I don't support this woman but I hope she still wins. We have no choice.

This is actually her cosplaying as Biden. It's performance art! Stop derailing her campaign please. Wait for January 2025. Tens of thousands are already dead, a few more won't make a difference. We will push her left and she will free Palestine when she wins! :clownny:

I know you're being sarcastic, but I do wanna ask something to the people who say they'll push her left: you'll do that with what leverage?

In other states maybe but she's lost a lot of support from Arabs and pro-Palestine voters which could cause her to lose Michigan, and make it a lot harder for her to win.

The only reason I "want" Kamala to win is because she's running against a racist like Trump who will be even worse, but the bar is on the floor. She is a terrible candidate.

This stance is literally gonna cost her winning the election.

Were Muslims, Arabs or bothsider progressives ever going to vote for her in the first place? From the beginning I've heard they weren't going to vote for Biden and then her.

Be real here.

The message that people are seeing is that the Republicans for Harris crowd are saying that no matter their policy disagreements, they can't let Trump win.

Meanwhile progressives are saying that unless Harris aligns with them in specific ways, they will let Trump win even though they disagree with him on everything.

If, she manages to pull off a win, they've now made themselves effectively politically homeless.

If, he wins and adds more Supreme Court judges and starts oppressing more Americans at home , Imma be real most people are going to ignore that whole crowd going forward for a very long time. Yes, this includes the Gaza issue as well.

You can fight me on this, but deep down everyone knows this is a fact.

The way americans REFUSE to chose between anything else than worse and worser. The way they fully get behind the candidate which they deem to be the least awful and start stanning them like their favorite popgirl, shielding them from all criticism. Maybe the dumb allegations were deserved after all.

And the rest of the world just has to sit there and suffer the consequences, over and over again.

or maybe, just maybe hundreds of billions of dollars are being spent to keep the American public cut off from the truth in our country's role in global affairs and we're victims of this perpetual war machine as well. America's position in the world means that whoever has our politicians in their back pocket can commit even the most heinous crimes with zero accountability. If you haven't experienced the disinformation campaigns, propaganda, and unbearably gigantic barrage of political ads surrounding American presidential campaigns, you really can't wrap your head around how easy it is for people to be sucked in by the lies. There is nowhere you can go in the US without this warped, dishonest version of reality where Harris and Trump are anything other than two extremely right wing warmongers being the main topic of discussion. TV, print media, the internet, even the side of every road is littered with signs and billboards pushing the tired, dishonest partisan political narratives. It is everywhere. Kamala had a feature in a FASHION magazine. I'm sure that when the MIC figures out how to place political ads on the back of our eye lids, American industry will somehow force the population into getting them planted and there will no longer be any way to hide from it. It's truly inescapable and you have to go out of your way to seek alternative sources of information.
