Lil Uzi tacked an entire 2nd album onto Eternal Atake back in 2020 to score a 2nd week at #1 and nobody batted an eyelid. That's BEEN the standard for years now. No shade, can't tell if y'all are playing ignorant or… but nothing she's doing is remotely shocking to anybody who's been paying attention!

And for anyone else excited at the idea of seeing Charli blocked: Jelly Roll's own fans are on his ass for using autopen for his signed albums. So if we wanna talk fraud or fairness, let's examine the full picture. She never deceived her audience!

I don't care nor did I say she "deceived her audience" or whatever.

I'm talking about her and her fans saying they're too ~cool~ to care about charts/mainstream success but care a lot, so much so they're pushing for sales to not be counted.

And it wasn't okay when he did it either?? Also congratulations on naming one other example. This is absolutely not "the standard," I'm a huge pop music nerd and have absolutely been "paying attention" — and it's very rare for an artist to tack on an ENTIRE album to their original one. A few songs, sure, but not a whole album. I think we all know who's playing ignorant here. 
 

FWIW, brat is my most played album of the year and I love Charli. You don't have to be a hater to say it's a bit unfair to tack a second album onto your first one to send it up the charts. Billboard should simply count it as two. That's a criticism of Billboard, not Charli.

I don't understand why they don't publish their results instead of waiting for billboard to make the decision... At the end of the day they have their own chart, and it has already happened that their #1 album is different...

He did that with the Toby Keith's #1 week (incorrectly posted One Thing at a Time's 19th week at #1) and Sabrina's debut week (incorrectly posted Travis Scott debuted at #1).
