Renan90 Posted October 15 Posted October 15 TOP 20: SHAKE IT UP At midweek, Broken Bow/Republic's Jelly Roll is headed to a possible #1 debut. The joint BMG/UMG release will record strong pure album sales, just south of 100k. Close behind is Alamo's Rod Wave, who could play the part of spoiler by Friday's HITS Top 50. Vaulting back to the Top 3 is Atlantic's Charli xcx, whose expanded Brat and it's completely different but also still brat is projected to do 110k. Meanwhile, GloRilla's Glorious (CMG/Interscope) will open in the Top 5 with 60k. https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=343061&title=TOP-20%3A-SHAKE-IT-UP 1
Doctor Dick Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Why are they counting the BRAT remix album as the BRAT album? Other remix albums were always charting separately.

Maybe cuz it's presented on streaming platforms like a deluxe for Brat rather than a standalone album like Dawn of Chromatica for example? I'm curious how Billboard will treat it.
Ger Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Great numbers for Jelly, what a massive year he's having, so talented, very happy for him Such a competitive week btw, and without any fraudulence involved, yess. That's great for Glo 2
itshyolee Posted October 15 Posted October 15 BRAT going #3, GloRilla debuting with 60K, and SOS still being in the top 20 despite being released almost 2 years ago. 6 2

I looked at the tracklist on streaming and she released the remix album as a 2CD set, the first disc being the remix album and the second disc being the original album. So since it includes the original, I'm assuming it's being treated as a rerelease on the Billboard 200. 4
Squall Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Did Billboard count the FN remix album separately? I don't remember
lillavend3r Posted October 15 Posted October 15 GloRilla clearning Cinderella with ease damn Charli is so close to #1, time to graduate from the Taylor Swift academy of fraudulance and release some variants 1 7 10

BornUnbroken Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Wow Glo the branding has been impeccable for her and the music is hitting, I can see this having longevity. It's been a good couple of years for female rap, hope this continues 4
KatyPrismSpirit Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Also Charli selling 110k so many weeks after. Just unthinkable a year ago. She came so far 1
Mattyboy Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Why did Chari release in such a competitive week? Ugh. She could've had a #1 last week
By the Water Posted October 15 Posted October 15 I was told multiple variants, remixes and 30+ tracks guaranteed huge numbers 6 1 13 16
chaneloberlin Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Omg Charli would've been #1 without the men and GloRilla would've been #3.... Why didn't they release 2 weeks ago when it was a freeforall with Sabrina still at #1 wtf oh now I'm mad I bet you there's nothing relevant coming this Friday either.
Parachutes Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Charli and Chappel both have had very unlucky timing with their 100k+ sales weeks. Great numbers regardless 6
