no, i used to care more about leaks and stuff but a lot of times things are unreleased for a reason (not fully finished, just demos) i'd rather listen to an album on spotify or something

not 3000 omg how many songs

I don't remember the exact number but I think the tracklist she revealed at that time had well over 20 songs but under 30.

so basically $100 a song

it's funding some nerd's college tuition 99% of the time

I knew a seller who funded his college tuition. Others just buy fancy ****. A lot of times the seller may be selling and paying half the check to the person who sourced the music. Also seller may pay the middleman as well.

Depends. If someone has Start A War by Gwen Stefani, I'd be willing to hand over my PayPal password.

I remember when Fenty Fantasia was charting inside top 50 on iTunes :deadbanana4:

It included critically acclaimed "Answer"

Yes.

Although a lot of songs from my faves have already leaked, I know there's more polished versions hiding in the vault and I would so pay a cute coin to get them:angelo:

I have already purchased outtakes and videos so I probably would if I ever came across unreleased music, as long as they don't charge an extortionate amount

Yeah, normally they're regular people with knowledge about digital security that they exploit on their favor to make easy money, most of the sellers just use the money they make for themselves and do whatever, like go on a vacation and stuff, it's not like you're directly funding ISIS like some people in this thread are claiming haha

I did once and then everything I bought and traded leaked in a few weeks so :skull: I wouldn't recommend it.

Yup! I met quite a few and they were not funding those groups. The most some do is scam or money laundering. Maybe a seller has but a rare case.

Why buy when it gets leaked?

Yes, Britney fans recently did a group buy and we were able to get like ~5 songs for about $1500.

Help what.....I never knew this

Well…my fave is a billionaire who hasn't released an album in 9 years, despite being photographed leaving studios numerous times over the past decade.

I wouldn't extort her, per se…but I would listen to them, discreetly make duplicates, and then let it be known that I had them (and had somehow acquired them legally…?).

Then I would accept any counter offer that FENTY put out there. Which, given her wealth and the interest surrounding her comeback, would probably be pretty substantial…

On a less "what would you do?" note, I really do hope we get to hear the past decade of work at some point. It's not enough to hear 1 album. I want the full decade of shelved experimentation and demos.
