I've been hearing this same tune since ARTPOP yet here we are.

I literally referred to it as LG6.5 though.

Harlequin is not indicative of how her next pop album will do. There's nothing to recover from because jazz in general is not a mainstream genre for a while now. Better now?

Of course!

It just depends on the incoming collaboration.  #ThankYou________

As per OGHs' LOGIC?

NO, LG7 Album will debut with 25k Units and that's it

It was number 1 on the jazz charts, considering it was a jazz album! :giraffe:

Of course she can. LG7 will most likely debut at #1 or #2 and she will go on to have a massive tour.

She probably won't be getting $10m.+ offers anymore after FAD but I don't think finding roles will be that hard for her either.

Why have we nicknamed her character Harley Quinn to 'Harlequin'? Yes, of course she'll survive JFAD. She hasn't released music in like 5 years. There's tons of anticipation for her musical comeback.

Maybe it's a legal / licensing thing

Yes! Her role critics said was the only highlight of Joaquin's Joker.

Can Katy recover from 143?

Of course she can. Harlequin was a little side project like her albums with Tony Bennett, not actual Lady Gaga albums. So to me, it doesn't even count as a flop because it was never meant to be for the charts. This isn't 1952 anymore. How many people do you know under 70 years old that listen to jazz on a regular basis? Did anyone really expect it to be huge or are they pretending so they can drag Gaga?

I think she can recover from almost anything. People said she was over after ARTPOP. Well, since then she's had A Star Is Born, Rain On Me, Die With A Smile... Haven't these people learned by now? Never count her out.

Y'all are doing too much with these troll threads. LG7 might not be a big smash but if the music is good (and not jazz) it will not flop like Harlequin.

Plus she can always tack on DWAS to the album :skeleton:

Tbh despite Joker and Harlequin, with Adele gone, the only pop stars with her kind of cachet (as in can go from the Venice Film Festival to the Olympics to a Vogue cover) are Taylor and Beyonce. So yes she'll be around a while.

is the movie really that bad :toofunny3:   but im sure she can.

yes that joker album was a mega skip besides The song The Joker but isnt that just the movie soundtrack?

Nope. She obviously ain't recovering from a surprise release that mostly has covers from decades ago.:keir:

Career? Completely over. Suddenly her net worth is now only 10K. LG7 cancelled. Tour cancelled. Gaga cancelled. The whole world gets cancelled in return and everyone dies. This is what we get for failing Gaga.

:deadbanana4:

Bye Gaga. Bye world.

:rip:

Spoiler

Obviously

if this was back 10 years ago, it would be harder

but Pop girls have more instruments to use to overcome an underperformance

+her team is competent enough to have done it several times

and her fans are loyal enough to have hope every era

All that circle jerking over a jazz cover album :WAP:
