tbhmatt Posted October 9 Posted October 9 The new snippet is totally unexpected, the verses (?) sound really punchy and full of personality, the structure kind of sounds like it'll be similar to AOMD in the sense that the verses will be more punchy/talk-singy and the chorus will be a bit more floaty She's already managing to carve out an identity and signature sound just from her first two singles

If so I think you will enjoy this, it seems very similar in structure, this has a lot of personality in it and is much more "pop" than midnight cowboy 1

tbhmatt Posted October 9 Posted October 9 I really liked the initial snippet we got but I did fear the full thing would run the risk of falling in to "cute but a bit generic disco track" and then I heard the second snippet and was immediately gagged It's clear what the references and inspirations are but it still retains a certain amount of character and personality that makes the song feel like JADE. I'm excited to hear the full thing. It very much sounds like a brilliant follow up to Angel Of My Dreams. 2
