I am very interested in your other selections as well, they all sound gorgeous. I'm excited for you. I can't say it's a safe blind-buy, so try to find a way to sample it first if you can. It's a love-it-or-hate-it perfume like no other.
mercurialworld Posted September 24 Posted September 24 also idk if you can follow people on fragrantica but here's mine
playboi Posted September 25 Posted September 25 (edited) I've been wearing MFK's L'Homme a la rose a lot lately I normally hate roses but they kinda snapped with this one Edited September 25 by playboi
mercurialworld Posted October 9 Posted October 9 (edited) im back from the ATRL khia asylum but i got some new (niche) samples and imma review one a day, what i've tried so far: Baruti - Chai: very spicy at first with lots of cinnamon and pepper but then dies down into a milky, cardamom tea (literal chai) it's great! Meo Fusciuni - Last Season: it just smells like dirt on me lmfao :( maybe people smell something different but i literally only get a dirt note i unfortunately hate this Edited October 9 by mercurialworld

Hephaestus Posted October 28 Author Posted October 28 @mercurialworld the fragrances you post are always so interesting, I always find myself checking them out on Google and later in store if they look something I might like! I've been obsessed with Petit Matin by MFK lately, it's slightly citrusy and floral but overall fresh smelling, like you naturally smell clean or something. Great everyday scent especially if there's nice weather 1

Great everyday scent especially if there's nice weather i appreciate it! it's such a fun hobby. honestly, our olfactory sense is the most undervalued of them all and it's such a shame. i'm glad you've been able to find something that works so well for you! wearing baruti - chai again today it's so spicy and enveloping, like gets super milky, like breathing in a freshly brew cup of chai on a cool morning. it's great bc today was so cold also ordered two full bottles—one for me and one for my brother— of rania j - shah'ryar and bruno perrucci - cursed im so excited 1
playboi Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Sampled a bunch of creations from L'Artisan Parfumeur lately and OMG. I loved almost every single one of them, new fav house
formlessminutiae Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Still obsessed with this scent...... perfect transmutation of sweet->musky almond.
Cloröx Posted November 1 Posted November 1 (edited) My signature perfumes right now Maison Margiela (Bubble Bath): Clean, soapy, skin scent with hint of coconut. Unisex, so comfy and inoffensive. Narciso Rodriguez (bleu noir parfum): One of the best iris fragrance out there, probably the best from designer. Unisex tho it leans towards male a little bit. ELDO (Exit The King): My 2nd soapy fragrance after Bubble Bath except this one is more fresh and little bit citrusy. Unisex Layr Fragrance (Kyoto Jazz): Indonesian local niche fragrance. A perfect blend of green tea with bergamot, pear and white flowers. A clean, green and fresh cologne. Unisex Olfactory (Velvet Seduction): A gourmand fragrance, very chocolaty but dark, praline gives hint of caramel but not too sweet. Cinnamon provides element of spiciness but not overpower Unke Naru (For Me): Very calm, little bit powdery like dried leaves with Jasmine scent. It gives me Evermore vibes. I wonder if it was a case of a bad batch or I was simply surprised by it the first time. Had the very same experience. I almost bought it, but when I decided to buy it, and tried it again it wasn't nice at all.
Cloröx Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Anyone knows a coffee-based fragrance? Heard that Bath & Body Works "Coffee & Whiskey" is good at hella cheap price but sadly it has been discontinued. Interested on Followed by Kerosene but many say it's an abomination, claiming it's the world's most potent fragrance and sometimes smells like curry instead coffee
