Because I Like It and obviously Instant Deja Vu are bops and half, but I can see why they (or whole these sessions) were ultimately scrapped. They just aren't what In the Zone became in the end. They are very poppy, almost outdated, even for 2003/04. They simply don't represent the maturity that was needed (and achieved) by Britney during that era.

Those were probably early sessions right after 'Britney' was released.

There also leaked an Instant Deja Vu version with a little rap. Some might know it. She performed it for Ashton Kutcher in Punk'd.

Crazy Girls is so Original Doll coded it hurts. I really believe she was recording two albums at the same time.

It's so ******* iconic :dies: I'm shook at the fact she actually recorded it in the studio and it belonged to this song wtf.

Is Crazy Girls from the same session as Ouch and Peep Show? They're the same tone of vocals

Really glad they changed direction because this is not it. Crazy Girls is the only one having potential but the rest sound like something that would fit her first album more.

I think Ouch and Peep Show were from the Michelle Bell sessions but I'm sure all these obscure songs with a different singing style belonged to a different project because I see the vision. It's so not like In The Zone at all. :deadbanana2: We have the urban pop tracks (Early Mornin', Touch of My Hand, Outrageous, I've Got That Boom Boom, Sippin' On, etc.) and the dance-pop carefree tracks (Brave New Girl, I Ain't Running Away, Instant Deja Vu) all intended for In The Zone... And then all these other songs that feel so out of place and sound the same. It's wild.

So every demo she did with Michelle Bell are all ITZ sessions?

I feel like they're ITZ sessions song AND also songs she was recording while on the Onyx Hotel Tour. Original Doll is real and nobody will convince me it's not :duca:

Could Michelle Bell and Penelope Magnet had been possible collaborators for TOD? She said she loved working with Penelope

Because I Like It borders on an interpolation of You Get What You Give at times. But yeah very wise decision to change direction from this to the finished ITZ album

Whatever TOD was initially in concept during the time of the Onyx Hotel until her injury. Cause after that TOD seemingly became a different project.

That rap ended up on "It Feels Nice", or is it not the same?

Because I Like It  :jonny5:

It would have been perfect to release it around 2004-2005

She really did every genre :rip:

Lyrics are the same, but she rerecorded it for Instant Deja Vu.

I think the Penelope Magnet stuff is very R&B oriented so I'd say no but Michelle Bell for sure, I think she was a main collaborator. If my memory isn't betraying me she even confirmed all these songs she was doing with her were for a project that wasn't In The Zone.
