Just as queer people exist in every nation on earth, homophobia also exists in every nation on earth. Homosexuality was literally illegal in many parts of the U.S. until as recently as 2003.

 

The IDF regularly targets queer Palestinians and attempts to blackmail them into becoming informants, and it should go without saying that Israel's genocidal massacres do not spare queer Palestinians. If you care about queer people, then you should care about Palestine, because genocide affects everyone, queer or not. Israeli Arabs can be in a gay relationship and be part of the LGBT+ community, just like everybody else in Israel can. 1.5 million Arabs live in Israel. And how does that detract from the FACT that Israel has been blackmailing LGBT Palestinians to force them into being collaborators? Or how they would not punish soldiers who gleefully killed a gay Lebanese man in the middle of sex, and enjoying the reaction of the survivor? 

 

Gays are only safe if they don't detract from the Israeli colonial project, and even then it is mostly within the "country within a country" that is Tel-Aviv. If you care about LGBTQ rights in Palestine, the best thing you can do is to oppose the Israeli occupation of their land. When society prospers free of war so do social issues.

But not all Palestinians are like this, and the children definitely aren't like this (last I checked, children make up most of the deaths during the genocide).
