Finding time to hate LGBTs while you're being bombed every other day is another level of obsession :rip:

And that's why I never gave a ****! Sorry. Downvote me all you want. Why should I advocate for the survival of hateful ass moronic homophobes? Miss me with that bullshit. The rest of you can sit pretty on your moral high horses defending those who would not spit on you if you were on fire. Well good luck babe!

I'd just like to add that we should stop acting as if Palestinians can't be part of our community. There will always be people like us in every community, regardless of how much freedom they have to express themselves. And I see them and I support them.

I'm sorry but if we would let more and more people like them in our community it's officially OVER for us.

I will support them, but I will never tolerate hate. It's not a hot look to always be too tolerant toward hate otherwise it will take over.

Genocide is bad. Homophobia is bad. One does not excuse the other.

As someone who hate watches him i can tell you that he is not, and you can clearly tell if you understand arabic or if you watch enough videos

i still remember him and his trash "translator" getting angry when "arab israelis" aka Palestinians in the occupied territories said they want the right of return for Palestinian refugees, and they were arguing with people they asked to change their answers

he is far from being neutral, he is a zionist atheist canadian (not even a jew) who came to Palestine recently and whose full time job is spreading hasbara

I don't follow him, I watch a bunch of news on this topic and this video got recommended to me and I found it interesting (I was watching Japanese thoughts on LGBT as well as Breaking Points video on Gaza and YouTube algorithm probably came up with this recommendation kskskskksksks :deadbanana:)

Thank you for informing me and others on the guy behind the channel :clap3: I suspected Palestinians would be conservative but him framing "ally" is rather a stronger word for them, I would rather simply ask "LGBT supports you, whats your thoughts on that" and get far more broad message than cornering them with "would you support your nephew being gay " afterwords :rip: still I wanted to share this video because I find topics of LGBT social issues on a predominately LGBT forum an interesting discussion.

I mean, those answers aren't much different from what our Christian grandparents would probably say. Should we genocide all old people? :deadbanana4:

I really don't care if Palestinians are homophobic. I'm not about to side with an apartheid settler colonial state just because you can get pounded in Tel Aviv.

Those are my exact positions. Perfectly said :clap3:

What I meant is that the pinkwashing is real and somehow we're expected to turn a blind eye on mass murder just because their country doesn't support our rights... when in reality they're bombing queer people too. They're killing people of all walks of life and identities, period.

Palestinians: "They [LGBT] are not humans"

Some Gays: "I will support them if it's my life's last mission. And when we are done and Israel is no more, they can throw me off the side of a building"

Yeah, I am for an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution but not losing sleep over them.

I have no dog in that fight (Israel vs Palestine). I do feel bad for the innocent lives lost but other than that I have my own issues at home. Wish them the best even tho some don't consider me to be human :heart2:

right like....there are absolutely LGBT Palestinians. erasing them just because their culture is conservative is crazy.

we only JUST got gay rights passed in the US last decade....does that mean LGBT Americans deserve to be exterminated because the country has been homophobic for years? like bffr

Let who where? :deadbanana4: Is there some special discount for straight Palestinians in gay bars that I don't know of? Or are you saying queer Palestinians are naturally homophobic... because they're Palestinian? :deadbanana4:

The vast majority of Palestinians don't even wanna move to Western countries (nor do they actually do so - most Palestinian refugees live in places like Jordan, Syria and Lebanon). They've been forced to by Israel's genocidal actions.

This boogeyman that the Mooslims!!1! (be very scared!) are plotting to... move to Western countries... to oppress Western gays... even though homophobia is less accepted here than in their home countries... is genuinely ridiculous.

Palestine has a terrible islamic culture that doesn't respect lgbt rights, female rights, and basic human rights. Yes, that's true.

Still, no group of people deserves to face a genocide.

Thank you. Both things can be true at the same time, we need to remember that.

Also, we need to keep in mind that if a nation and it's people are constantly pushed down and oppressed, they often become more extreme and conservative, especially if a big reason for that oppression is their religion. You can't expect these people to be progressive if they haven't been allowed to be anything but what western society has boiled them down to.

Maybe I didn't word it correctly, but by "community" I meant the western world. LGBT is struggling enough as of now, and letting more and more of these people come here will make it even harder for us.

Yes, people move to the West because of wars. But when they're here and they want to spread thheir hate, then I'd rather if they'd stayed dead in their country. Sorry but not sorry. I want to survive too and stay safe as well.

I'm willing to bet a good amount of money that Israel routinely kills more gays than Palestine.

Please, Israel is the only country in the entire Middle East where you can be gay and not be persecuted. Downvote me all you want, but this is the truth.

Threads like this really serve as a reality check for me sometimes. Some of you are still ******* bigots even if you're part of the LGBTQ+ community. Racist ass *******.

I'd rather live the rest of my life in a homophobic shithole than be around "tolerant progressives" like you in the West.

I don't care what those ******* think about me I still don't want them to be bombed to death. And once they have the freedom to live peacefully and without the threat of a war looming over their heads... that's when I'll say I hope they choke!

This is a slippery slope. The creator is clearly biased so I wonder how many people said they do support LGBTQ rights but weren't included in the video. Regardless, Palestinians have a long way to go as far as LGBTQ rights and it's truly heartbreaking to see that being in the middle of a freaking genocide is not enough for some people to feel empathy towards other human beings. Like if that doesn't, nothing ever will.

I mean I knew Palestine was very homophonic but I was still expecting just a "yes" and I was very disappointed to see the people be so close minded.

If my life was in danger I would personally accept support from anyone, no matter who they are or how different they are from me.

It's sad to see this is not the case here.

Still gonna support but yeah… it's just weird.

I was raised muslim and I know what this ideolog thinks of us. I know so many arab gays that escaped their country because people like this. We want to feel safe too.

Do we want this ideology to rule modern countries too? I'm against the bombings of innocent people, yes, I don't even want them to bomb innocent homophobes. But if it were up to these people, we wouldn't be able to live. I don't want them to be bombed, but they will never get my respect.
