No, the reason why this has missed the top 200 is because no one knows this song is out / Perrie isn't a big force on her own. It's not realistic without a big push for any of the girls to debuting high outside of their debut singles on streaming. Let's just hope the audience respond to the material she's releasing and she can maintain a fanbase and then release an album. Well she is #2 on new music friday , pushed on radio and performed in a big night show . Also she is the most followed LM girl on Instagram but whatever 1 hour ago, WERKER said: Also just to note Perrie basically sabotaged Tears' roll out by refusing to promote it and going on holiday on release because Jade was about to debut. She underperformed and let it die and is coming off a big underperformance. A top 40 debut and a few weeks in it would be good at this point. Well . . . This is what she said but its not exactly the reality, no ? Labels dont release songs and let them flop cause the artist says so ... 1
Nectarine Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I think YGYW is a huge hit and I've already replayed it about a dozen times in one sitting. Personally, I think the song would benefit from one less chorus and maybe one more verse in its place, but I'm still really loving this song.

She isn't underperforming with this third single, she's performing as expected from her previous songs chart performances. She had a top 10 which dropped like a rock and her second single missed the top 50. No one should have expected this song to be charting on the Spotify UK top 50 3

shark_heather Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Kind of off the topic but you know this year with the huge success of Chappell and Charli , anyone else feels like some of Charli's songs would be perfect for Jade and some of Chappell's songs would fit perfectly Perrie ? 2
Junlin Posted October 6 Posted October 6 The video is really cool, the song fits her might grow on me.
Blue. Posted October 6 Posted October 6 (edited) The song is such an earworm, I am hooked. Should have been the first single. Edited October 6 by Blue. 1
willmcclure9 Posted October 6 Posted October 6 This hit last night with the help of the video Its so good, the tiktok fired users complaining about it being too long when its barely 4 minutes

I think I've already said the reason Perrie is underperforming is because she's just not working as a solo artist? People aren't checking for her because the music isn't connecting. Gone are the days where you need to do 7 TV appearances in one week to promote your song. Songs grow now through social media e.g. TikTok if it's catchy and fresh. You Go Your Way isn't any of those things. It's a song Kelly Clarkson should be singing and that woman is her 40s. 2 2

M.R. Posted October 6 Posted October 6 The original version is much better. Her vocals are so unpleasant.
Acuminatus Posted October 6 Posted October 6 I love the energy of this song. But I agree the song could be shorter. It's like she took a 2 minute song and decided to vamp for 2 more minutes and call it a day. Even the original song is shorter. And it's wild that she has an extended version of this song that is 6 minutes We need You Go Your Way (Radio Edit) or something 1

Sad Serenade Posted October 6 Posted October 6 I really like the video, she's a star. The song is ok but not my favorite between her 3 singles
The Slayer Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Stream update: Day 1: 231,061 streams Day 2: 153,965 streams TOTAL: 385,026 streams
The Slayer Posted October 6 Posted October 6 18 in the mids. I expect it to drop a lot during the week but hopefully will chart higher than Tears (69).
mickeyderon Posted October 6 Posted October 6 (edited) Perrie is arguably my favourite vocalist out of the group and I feel like many others have said, there is no clear direction of what lane she would like to be in. This new single is catchy but for me the production needs a lot more of a bang to it to draw me in. It's really lacking here. It's quite long in terms of the tiktok crowd she seems to be aiming for. I'm really waiting for the song that comes out and blows me away. Edited October 6 by mickeyderon 2

tbhmatt Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Well, I'm pleased to confirm this has a lot more replay value and holds up a little better than Tears did. I've actually bothered to go back and listen to this after release day, which I didn't do with Tears dddd 4
OrgVisual Posted October 6 Posted October 6 The video really elevates the song. The vocal perf is amazing, haven't heard anything like this in pop music for a long time. Maximalism pop (adlibs, big chorus etc.) >>>>>>>> minimal, chill pop anytime for me
