He's so annoying to me now. I'm glad his music ages like buttermilk. The past songs and album (blue neighborhood) that I did like are now unlistenable.

So I guess this is the kind of tour related social media post they came up with.

He was absolutely right. It's an immature and petty blind item clearly written by someone seething with jealousy. Like it or not, Troye Sivan is a world famous global pop star commencing an (almost) sold out tour with Charli XCX. To make this about him touring for sex really is homophobic and just stupid.

This.

The blind item would only make sense if the subject waa "straight".

To say that Troy needs to tour to get laid is so stupid

I miss his good boi days, this OnlyFans twink era is insufferable even though the music is excellent :matty:

He made points but the way he said "I can get laid wherever I want" was unlikeable and arrogant.

Him calling out people, especially straight people, use "twink" as a slur nowadays is so real actually. Because they don't even know what it means lmao

They literally will use it on any feminine/flamboyant gay man even if they're super muscular and have a beard :dies:

He just told Charlie she can use the *** - an actual slur. So I don't think he currently has a say in who can say what.

I can agree with y'all re: straight women getting entirely too comfortable co-opting gay lingo and using it derogatorily...

But I do think some of the blame for that phenomenon has to be placed on online gays, including Troye, who've gone on socials and posted about how their fave celebrity women are "allowed to use the f-slur". I get that it's a joke and all but part of me is in the camp of you reap what you sow on that issue. :suburban:

I obviously don't think he deserves the homophobic rhetoric, I just wish he maybe uses his platform a little more carefully in future? Idk, call me a prude if you want to but I get majorly uncomfortable with the casual way that word gets thrown around between gays and their girls online.

Women's obsession with gay male sexuality is getting increasingly annoying and creepy to me.

That lady from that Tiktok gossip blog is getting her azz beaten left and right this year  At least Troye didn't attack her like Nicki did :skull:
