I would love to see them rationalize this. Like… Taylor Swift thought to herself, "I want Trump to win and will be voting for him, but I don't want people to hate me for supporting him so I will endorse Kamala and potentially tip the election in her favor even though I don't actually want her to win" :psyduck:

okay you are making waaay too much sense now. So you have been banned from r/travisandtaylor for "Pro-Taylor sentiment" and for scaring the OTHs from entering this thread. They can't handle this much sensible thinking! :tsk:

The snark subs are still trying to convince themselves that she's *still* secretly voting for Trump. So let that sink in.

The length people go in that sub to hate Taylor with their weird theories is quite astonishing. Full of miserable people :deadbanana4:

Rich scumbag who has never used her platform to call out genocide, now uses her platform to endorse a genocide enabler :clown:

Yeah sure, because Trump winning will definitively help Palestine right? Do you even hear yourself? The only clown here is you :juanny:

Can't wait until the next election cycle and people convince themselves again that she's a Republican, only to have her shut them up again.

I don't think it will have as much impact next time.

Taylor Swift not endorsing Kamala doesn't mean a Trump win, and her endorsing someone who is literally funding a genocide while simultaneously not using her massive platform to condemn said genocide (which would be significant) is awful.

You're calling me a clown because I'm not okay with a celebrity misusing her platform and not trying to move the needle on a genocide that is being committed against my people... isn't really the take you think it is.

If Kamala and Trump were supporting genocide against people living in West Hollywood, Taylor's backyard, she wouldn't be endorsing Kamala just because she's a good candidate on all other variables. The lives of those living in West Hollywood, for example, shouldn't be worth more than our lives as Palestinians.

So no, she's a clown, and you certainly absolutely are.

Taylor is not a clown.

She is endorsing Kamala because one of the two candidates for president has said he wants to strip back women's rights, reproductive rights, and do a lot of horrible things towards women and marginalized groups. Taylor, as an American, is going to endorse the candidate, for the American election, that is not going to rescind women's rights, in America. Stop this narrative that people vote on single issues and that anyone who is voting for Kamala "must be supporting/pro genocide" because for a lot of people their only focus is not having their rights, in the country they live in, be taken away.

One would think after last time she endorsed Biden, this time it wouldn't have as much impact. But OTHs are always ready to be stupid, because after all, all this controversy came from the haters.

So Palestinian women can get slaughtered while American women enjoy four years where their pro-genocide female president who is paying for that slaughter has little to no power in being able to bring back Roe v Wade, gotcha!

Guess what, not voting for Kamala not only doesn't help Palestine - but can lead American women to losing their rights as well! Of course an American women, is going to vote for an American president, who will protect American women's rights!
