Lagerfeld Posted September 9 Posted September 9 All three are the pop girls who debuted in the 2000s as solo artists and have been part of the MPG group for the longest time - with Britney having been the latest to join legends. However! As time passed, all three proved their legacy and reached new legendary status while other girls were left behind as icons. Do you agree with this? or are more pop girls to be included in the legend circle? 3 2

Umm I think she's already proven herself based on the fact that ANTI is still charting as well as some of her other albums re-entering the BB200. Her seat at the table is very much secured. 2

Rihanna had done one-note pop music for many eras, she only changed it up a bit with ANTI. Meanwhile, Gaga challenged every genre and also had her acting stint. Plus an Oscar! 2 1 1 1

Relampago. Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Rih has to be added to the list, it would almost take adding all the true hits of these ladies to match the amount she has Not to mention multiple successful business ventures, praise and acclaim from her peers, adored by the GP, she'll be one of the most remembered artists of all time, let alone her generation.
mrpartyrocker Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Whoever disagrees with Gaga being a legend is deaf af. She's the only recent pop girl that managed to step into the movie industry with success and be acknowledged for it! On top of it she proved herself musically time after time. The way she managed to reinvent herself after artpop should be studied. Looking at any other pop girl going through that kind of undeperformance, she's the only one that survived it and continued to create hits! yes, Gaga, Taylor and Beyonce are legends and proved themselves! Rihanna needs another era to establish herself considering musically she hasn't done anything since 2016. But they are definitely the only ones that stand out since 2000s 12 1
Mr. Duff Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I agree with the list, and add Rihanna. Taylor and Beyonce may be miles ahead of Gaga and Rih but all of them have had the longevity to be called legends. Bruno Mars also could be added (MPB instead of MPG hahaha). Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran need one more hit era I think (or at least one more hit song) to establish longevity.

Peroxide Posted September 9 Posted September 9 (edited) Taylor, Gaga, Rihanna and Beyoncé are bonafide legends. I go back and forth on Adele. I also think Lana and Ariana have the potential to become legends… but they have a bit more to prove in comparison to the other 5. Edited September 9 by Peroxide 3
