All of katy's features are smaller or equal to katy

All of Gaga's features are bigger or equal to Gaga.

So Gaga

Spotify 9/1

Kanye: 25.6m (47.97b total)
21 Savage: 16.2m (31b total)
Daddy Yankee: 13.25m (31.4b total)
Calvin: 12.73m (26.1b total)
Nicki: 11.18m (35.74b total)

vs

Katy: 10.3m (20.4b total)

All more relevant now + at time of collab

————————————

Migos songs released around the same time as Bon Appetite:

Bad & Boujee: 947 million
Walk It Talk It: 790 million
Stir Fry: 695 million

vs

CTTR: 580 million
Swish Swish: 422 million
Bon Appetite: 291 million

They were bigger at the time of collaboration too. Not now, but yeah. :celestial5:

Gaga and Colby were connected through their mutual relationship with Akon and Bradley Cooper was never more famous than Gaga even during her mid 2010s struggle years.

Exactly why the label forced her to work with a bigger act at the time. I know you get it

If Bradley isn't that big how come he had 7 oscars noms at the time (now he has 12) and Gaga had only 3. She worked with him because he was a big respected movie star.

Gaga, like Katy hasn't had a collaboration since Witness. Gaga on the other hand has been collaborating with the likes of BlackPink, Ariana, Bruno Mars and Elliot John. All extremely popular stars that shine brighter than Gags, sry but its a fact.

Hell, not gurls acting like TD and Prism Katy needed her features when all of them besides Snoop were less known than her.

Is there anyone who hasn't been affected by the radiation of Katy texting them for a collab?

What is this delusion? In the last 10 years alone Katy has released 11 collabs as singles, with another 4 collabs coming on 143 (*at least* two of them will become singles)

Post-Witness she has literally done 5 (not including the 4 on 143)

Kanye, Nicki, Migos, Calvin, Daddy Yankee and 21 Savage were/are all bigger than her at the time of collabs and now (with the exception of Migos who was only bigger at the time of collab)

"Both washed up"

>one is doing stadium tours this decade, one is struggling to fill theatres

>one is still getting hits, one hasn't seen the Top 10 in 11 years

>one is still getting platinum albums, the other hasn't done so since 2013

I'm sorry but threads like these are embarrassing even as a Gaga stan. Like at some point stop letting this Katy vs Gaga thing exist. The GP doesn't give two shits about whether a hit is a hit because it's a collab or not, rap artists do it all the time. No one discredits an artist's accomplishments because they can work with and make hits with other artists. No reason to be insecure about your fav's hits just because they're with features and there's no reason to be defensive about it either.

Katy is more desperate, she will collab with anybody or do anything for a hit. But she's not reliant on a collab, she will flop whether solo or collab.

Gaga is not necessarily desperate but she is reliant on a collab for hits in recent years.

I would say Katy during Teenage Dream when she was collaborating with Kanye, Missy, Juicy J and Migos. Snoop Dogg, I'll let her off for because it suits the Cali Gurls vibe and Juicy J surpassed my expectations.

I will say I am very disappointed she worked with all these collaborations. I expected Katy to be smart or someone on her team to be smart enough to make her work with female artists to really deliver on the Women's World theme. I wish that was the theme of the album. I mean...imagine a conceptual, Katy Perry album with all-female features like Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus and Chappel Roan. This album just seems so uninspired. Witness and Smile had better songs:

1. Witness - Chained to the Rhythm, Bon Appetit, Swish Swish, Hey Hey Hey, Roulette, Act My Age, Bigger Than Me, Pendulum (8)

2. Smile - Never Really Over, Harleys in Hawaii, Only Love, Tucked, Smile, Not the End of the World (6)

I really hope she has a big hit in Gorgeous or something else, just one hit would do wonders for her.

Gaga is desperate for a hit but at least she has taste in Beyonce, Florence, Ariana, Bruno and Weeknd

More like Bruno wanted her help to get a new hit to promote his residency shows with; he asked her to appear on the song with him, not the other way around :celestial6:

Except Bruno approached HER for the song.

11 collabs as singles in the last 10 years (+another 4 on 143) vs 3 collabs as singles in the same amount of time
