Was Ashley Tisdale's Symptoms one of the most disappointing follow-ups?

I'm such a huge fan of Ashley, so I was disappointed the album was so awful. The lyrics were bad, all the songs sounded the same, and there wasn't anything special about it.

Voices in My Head & Love Me and Let Me Go were manageable at the time but I don't ever listen to them anymore.

Just give us the Headstrong and Guilty Pleasure vinyls PLEASE 🙏

Most of my gay friends who I'd deem to be pretty in tune with pop music/stan culture had no idea as well. I wish I had Spotify so I could see how many streams each track has for a kii :rip:

Well, yes. I think it was a cute effort tbh, it's not horrendous but definitely very bland and forgettable. Meanwhile Headstrong and especially Guilty Pleasure are classics and go insanely hard

it was faceless and boring but i expected that sound from miles away she was never gonna build on the sound from her debut and sophomore lmao

she falls under the boring brand of millennial upper middle class white pop girl that fell off and now make folky pop music that you listen to while driving to the farmers market

I really enjoyed that album. So no, I dont think its a bad follow up, I just think she evolved and matured lol

I am sorry, compared to Dignity by Hiliary, Ashley Tisdale gave us better material with way more adventurous production. Like it is not that bad.

I liked it but House music tends to sound kind of generic sorry...

Thank you zaddy :heart2: Feeling So Good having 13M makes a lot of sense given that it was on a lot of gym playlists and I think she did a partnership with Shazam to promote it. If only she used some of that coin for decent writers and producers.

Love Me & Let Me Go was a bop

The album is not good tbh. Guilty Pleasure is still such a good generic pop/pop-rockish album tho.

I am sorry, but Dignity from all others' Disney girls pop albums? :rip:

I mean, we have her other two previous albums, Vanessa Hudgens' albums, Zendaya's debut album and many other worse options :fan:

Bridgit would've given us an amazing album, the biggest missed opportunity :suburban:

Oh no, don't get me wrong. I do really love Identified and V as well, but they are not better than Dignity, imo :fan:

Absolutely. GP is one of the best pop albums of all time. Symptoms is unlistenable and she thought she had her Lana Del Rey moment.

the fact that she released anything after a decade was already a win for her fans.

love me & let me go or title track deserved.

Yes, super disappointing. Idk why people pretend it's good. She should've done what Vanessa did and just leave music alone. Her first two albums were iconic and Symptoms diminished her catalog.
