XAMJ Posted August 30 Posted August 30 cause the song is horrible sounds dated but leave kesha alone tbh 1
Gabriel Posted August 30 Posted August 30 It may not be doing well in the charts, but its a great bop. It got my streams.
Yes, AND Posted August 30 Posted August 30 It has done amazing for an independent release. Plus, it's a bop !
dumbsparce Posted August 30 Posted August 30 I was like why tf would someone randomly drag Tinashe and her ancient album but then I saw the dislikes on the first post before it even loaded and everything clicked. 7
FrederickGa Posted September 1 Posted September 1 A success for an indie artist The question should be: Why is an indie artist outstreaming Katy Perry's newest singles combined? 2
Slap Posted September 1 Posted September 1 It's a bop and a certified classic already in my home. That's all I care about Kesha really showed them how to do a throwback while being innovative and giving something fresh rather than the stale attempts at music by the rapist. 2
Robyn. Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Kesha did what she had to do. She bagged a few hits here and there, has one classic song which is Tik Tok, and can go on with her life so whatever. 1
Scandalous Posted September 2 Posted September 2 (edited) imagine tossing all morals in the bin just to shamelessly stan for a producer who still makes decade-old sounding generic trashy pop songs and gives them to women who sing them with only about 30% of their soul/personality in it and despite charts Joyride has done only positive things for Kesha's newly independent career while Rapist's World, Losertimes, and the 666 era in general have only made Fadty the laughing stock of the year. I got clowned for saying that she's calling the paparazzi on herself, but this was actually exposed to be true. Why isn't this translating to streams? Your hatred for women is truly something else 2

Her insinuating that Kesha, the Jane Doe who privately came forward about Dr. Luke sexually assaulting her when she was 18, and every other woman (Kelly Clarkson, P!nk, Becky G, Charli XCX) that accused him of abuse are liars will forever follow her and overshadow her "career". Her trite, reductive, "music" made for gooning compilations and PNP gangbangs will never, EVER compare to anything Kesha put out, even the worst songs on High Road. Thinking you can come for Kesha when you're donning an avatar of a woman who releases horseshit for misogynistic racist pasty tina-sniffing circuit muscle twunks who need a house beat while GETTING beat and double-fisted by men off Recon in the basement of The Eagle is hilarious. Worry about Petrash being unable to sell out a high school auditorium and stop coming for rape survivors just because your Minecraft looking fave hates them. Sending you love sis Oooop clock iT 3

Digitalism Posted September 2 Posted September 2 12 minutes ago, CroNich said: According to this logic every artist discussed on here are flops bar like 3. Did you read the title before posting that? Because this thread is about her song being a flop. What is surprising about it. Kesha has been a flop since era 3. If you want to talk about quality or artistry that's another thread. But metacritic scores will tell you kesha is not good at that either. 2

xfreshkidxx Posted September 2 Posted September 2 (edited) The song is okay but I dont think she was expecting much success and what the song hss been able to do without much support is amazing. I'm sure its much more rewarding being able to do whatever she wants now. Edited September 2 by xfreshkidxx

How is having consistently released albums above 70 (one of them above 80) on Metacritic for 14 years bad? If we only count studio albums, that's better than her direct peers (Katy, Gaga) and above many others (Rihanna, Demi, Nicki, Miley, Britney, Christina Aguilera, Avril, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, for example). Among the pop girls that were already around when Kesha debuted, only Taylor, Beyoncé and Adele (also Lana del Rey) have notably higher average scores than her. Calling Kesha a "non-respected flop" shows that you have no clue what you are talking about. Edited September 2 by TomTom 3 3
Paddy Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Joyride did well for the fact that it's independent, no promo, just released. That money she generated from this she can use to pay writers, producers to create an album, or keep it to promote the next single/album when ready.

Because is unfortunately means Luke's threat came true he took her best years from her and ruined her career trajectory and now the world only shows up when they feel like they are supporting her so this is just the best situation for her

I'd rather be Kesha than Dr. Luke at the moment. 5

This is one of the funniest clapbacks ever 💀 2

I know we want to belive the tables have turned and he's finished but as along as he holds a pen he is host to himself. The struggle Kesha has had to to just get here now is crazy and amazing but it's sad to know her potential was thrown off course .
Kiss It Better Posted September 9 Posted September 9 not even defending kesha, but who the heck expected this to smash like when was the last time she had a hit
