I will report every post erasing trans women's achievements Why is transphobic allowed I know this person has been banned, but on the off-chance they're still reading this thread: you need to stop equating the criticism of someone (who happens to be trans) with transphobia. People are allowed to criticise things outside of our queerness. If someone called me rude, I wouldn't scream "YOU HOMOPHOBE!" — That's a very serious accusation, and if I'm being rude or disrespectful, my sexuality has nothing to do with that. You'll come to find that constantly victimising yourself won't get you very far in life. It will actually just piss people off, and will make them want to avoid interacting with you. Conversely, simply being trans and visible doesn't automatically make someone a good person. The criticism of Kim is so, so valid. I know it's nice to see yourself represented in the media, but the criticism of her is actually incredibly based. I've said it before, but I actually think the way she constantly perpetuates negative, hypersexual stereotypes of trans women is doing more harm than good. She's constantly singing about how she's a "sl*t" and a "throat goat" who wants casual "butt sex". Most trans girls just want be loved, accepted, and able to walk down the street without being clocked or harassed. Edited August 29 by Rihinvention 10
Polgg48 Posted August 29 Posted August 29 only time ive seen the single promo is on atrl, social medias and tik tok are there for more exposures and attract listeners. 1
ericcartman Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Because anything even remotely connected to Katy Perry flops 1
TomTom Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Another hit unpopular post in the basket for @GardenPanty, no one else (besides Kukai and Alfred's dupes) is racking up them downvotes like that 1 4
perfect blue Posted August 29 Posted August 29 The measure of success for Kesha is doing marginally better than Katy Perry's colossal flop, how sad is that. This woman will forever live in Katy Perry's shadow. OT: Sympathy streams will only take you so far if the song sucks. 1 1 10

We love an independently-released track whose revenue goes directly into Kesha's pocket without having to recoup for high-budget music videos, radio deals and imminent flop album releases…not everybody has that 4

SupremeGoddess Posted August 29 Posted August 29 (edited) Kim Petras and Katy stans actually acting like calling the paps is a criminal offense like rape, sexual abuse and emotional manipulation. I know years of listening to Katy's watered down dumb ass child-like music and watching her ejaculate whipped cream from her **** next to CGI gummy bears have fried all your brain cells and you have a hard time putting up a decent rational thought, but even this is getting way out of head i'm sorry y'all are brain dead, but get a move on, leave kesha alone like the GP has left useless chart fodder critical and commercial failure katy perry behind Edited August 29 by SupremeGoddess 9 1 1

And she didn't even call any paps, she was just doing the Joyride cover shoot at that gas station . 1

They're more offended by Kesha calling paps (something EVERY celeb does from Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Hailey Bieber, and ******* Lucy Hale) than they are at Katy and Kim showcasing that they don't think men raping, physically/financially/verbally/mentally abusing women, and pushing people into eating disorders that leave them hospitalized are matters that should be taken seriously. Dumbasses. 2 1

JustHoran Posted August 30 Posted August 30 It's literally an indie song. She has no record label or major label backing and it STILL did better than the Dr. Puke singles Also I don't even think it's a good Kesha song and know she has better than that. Hopefully she signs with a major label again soon but one with a GOOD contract so she's not trapped like she was with Puke 1 1
mike_int Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Isn't she releasing music as independent artists now? Obviously there is no budget for promo, radio play etc. The song is absolute bop however not radio friendly for current airplay. Also no video.
collin Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Debuted Top 50 on pop radio today with no label, video, performance or promotion. Mind you, she has not appeared on pop radio for 5 years. Tell me again how this is somehow an underperformance for her? And we'll keep watching her go up. Enjoy 12
