I lowkey thought 200K too but I didn't want to say otherwise and look dumb :deadbanana4: The singles were and are TOO massive

RIGHT? Like I wanted to say it but didn't want to be looked at as crazy for assuming she was gonna do this well.

I wonder what the last time a female artist went up 1000% between albums and passed 100k, since sabrina's last debut was 18k.

I know Taylor and I assume Adele.

Taylor 40k-592k (x14)

Adele ? (#61)-352k

other women who spring to mind: Gaga: 24k-174k-1108k (x7, then x6)

Katy: 47k-192k (x4)

Doja Cat, 'Hot Pink' did like 8k first week, 'Planet Her' did 110k. And "Espresso" sounds like "Say So" dddd

"taylorblessing" this "taylorbleassing" that yet their fave can't even chart the lead single off her newest album in the top 10 for more than a couple of weeks:deadbanana2:

I wanted to make a list of all the things Swifties keep taking credit for but it's been so hard to keep up :deadbanana2:

There's nothing Taylor can take credit for here. Sabrina would've smashed with Espresso regardless if she opened for the Eras Tour or not since it was just a handful of dates and there are equally as many acts it does NOT work for (Gayle being one of them). Their need to credit Sabrina's enormous success (and others') to Taylor just reeks of insecurity.

Especially when artists like Gracie Abrams who is literally up Taylor's ass, opened up for her, and has a song ft. her on her album and didn't achieve a fraction of Sabrina's success :rip:

Norah Jones probably holds that record.

She went 10K > 1.02M, a x102 increase!

Doesn't really count since it released a day early So its actual first week was 20k

amazing! plus there are a few potential hits on there too so she can have longevity with this record too

Olivia and Ariana are falling off but can't stop being mentioned by certain fan base, two mothers if you ask me :celestial5:

OT: Amazing numbers, she and hear team rode the Espresso wave flawlessly, other pop girls' team can learn :clap3:

will tune in for the album tonight :clap3:

I expected 250k max so 300k is pretty crazy. Only Adele, Taylor, Beyoncé, Billie, and Olivia hit those numbers :rip:

Massive numbers for her and it's what she deserves for giving us a PROPER album rollout - the other girls can take notes :clap3:

Isn't this bigger than Ariana and Oblivia's debuts? What a phenomenal year she's had….

gracie's previous albums charted 0 songs. this album charted 4 songs including a top 40. a clear improvement, yes I agree!

...looks like since the digital era started, women whose original works went from sub-50k debut weeks to a 200k+ debut are Adele, Taylor, and Norah. Quite a company to be in.

This is insane and very well deserved. She gave us an album! Proper rollout, proper singles and all amazing. Last time a pop girl era felt like this was dua and future nostalgia. Good videos, good singles, everything about it.
