South East Asian countries are sucker for ballads. But it's more noticeable in countries like Indonesia and Philippines since those 2 are in the top 5 of biggest Spotify markets. Dwas is doing 3M daily from those 2 countries alone.

But the thing is sometimes a song that didn't go #1 feels much bigger than a lot of #1 songs. This and espresso in comparison with many are such big hits and tbf at this point hitting #1 is just a bonus, but it doesn't make it bigger than it actually is.
