Sannie Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Everything about this is the anti-thesis of what makes popstars successful nowadays. She didn't need to work with a rapist, she didn't need a forced TikTok dance, she didn't need a 2-minute TikTok-clippable song... Just good ol' fashioned talent. 6

TBH what you are mentioning is what corpos and suits think that guarantees you success, the reality is that there are plenty of people having success while not doing anything of that list, and some others inviting dated YouTube personalities, and sharing 124 snippets of the song on TikTok, are failing. Talent, talent, and talent, hard work and a little bit of luck, there is nothing else. Edited August 20 by UnRayuki 6
Raphy23 Posted August 20 Posted August 20 this thread is so dead today? No one cares she's succeeding? 1

Funnyfatty Posted August 21 Posted August 21 No but i feel like ATRL always collaps when something great about Gaga happens. WHY DOESN'T IT WORK PROPERLY THIS WEEK? Even when Taylor releases an album this website works perfectly fine Anyways Gaga is a queen and this song will be one of the biggest hits of the year. 1 4
NorbertMinaj Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I just wanna say I love Gaga so much and I'm chuffed to bits she's succeeding! She truly deserves it! she is one of the kindest people in Showbiz out there! A true gem we ought to protect at all costs! I think that's why DWAS was smashing because people see right through "made for TikTok" songs that music labels keep on pushing and the GP is starting to get tired of how predictable they are. 3
NorbertMinaj Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Femininomenon! and with all the success the song is garnering, you'd think they'd be excited about Gaga's return, yet it's all crickets. The naysayers have suddenly gone radio silent. It'll never cease to amaze me, really. 1

The time signature the song was written in also stands out so much. It sticks out like a sore thumb in the music landscape in the best way possible. It's a moderately fast-paced ballad that's over four minutes long, with a 6/8 time signature in times where rhythm has become incredibly streamlined and almost every song written in a 4/4 time signature and follows the same boom-clap beat pattern. 3
Bosque Posted August 21 Posted August 21 She is getting the #1 in the USA today. I can feel it deep inside 2
