Richie.Valdez Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Ok.. who do we have left... only 6 positions left. Taylor, Beyoncé, Britney, Rihanna, Lady Gaga.... Drake?
Erreur2 La Nature Posted October 24 Posted October 24 In my opinion they'll probably put : 1 Beyonce 2 Taylor 3 Drake 4 Britney 5 Gaga

Drake? #6 will be interesting because the remaining acts are all way too big... I'm gonna say Drake will be out next because even though he's the biggest hitmaker out of them all, his impact pales in comparison (and that seems to be a pretty big factor here). But who knows.

dumbsparce Posted October 24 Posted October 24 In all fairness, #1 should be either Taylor (for obvious reasons) or Rihanna who pulls numbers as if she's still active. That alone speaks volumes on her greatness.

All of those women have shaped pop culture one way or another. He has massive hits but that's not all that's taken into account for the ranking. 2

Not only are you wrong, if that was the case (Billboard making 'impact' more important) Kanye would have outranked all of them. 3 1
Phaunzie Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Kanye should be in the top 5. His impact across a lot of stars cannot be understated. Gaga, Beyonce, Taylor, Katy, Madonna, Drake, Nicki, and especially Miss Rihanna, etc. He inspired numerous generational changes in the zeigeist, several genres and categories (PC Music, Hyperpop, etc) and was a part of numerous groundbreaking musical projects. 2
Anticipating Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I was listening to the podcast and they said at the end that the next artist has had a fair share of iconic VMAs moments... hmm. Gaga? Britney?

True, but let's not forget Britney's most successful era won't be counted so it could go either way - that's like excluding The Fame for Gaga. But we'll see. 1
