I mean this as respectfully as possible but Pink has been a non factor culturally for a loooong time. And that matters in the equation. She slays with touring. But commercially she has been declining for years at this point music wise. And the music also hasn't been giving in a long time from her either lbr. She never pushed her artistry forward instead she stayed in the same zone for years. 

 

Look at Beyoncé and put Pink next to her.  It's insane how worlds apart they are to each other in relevance. But you wouldn't think that if you just saw their touring stats on paper. There's more to it imo.

Agree with Taylor and Bey in the top 2, but really surprised Taylor is not number 1. By charts and metrics alone she should be.

Another way I look at it is - if Beyonce was #2, the Hive would definitely (and rightfully) be flooding our timelines with Beychella vids, Renaissance tour performances, music videos, etc.

 

Taylor at #2 is flooding our timelines with stats.

 

If the stans themselves can't use Taylor's songs, videos, performances (you know... her actual art) as justification for why she should be called the best pop artist of the century then no, she absolutely doesn't deserve the title.
