Beyoncé is the only one on the list that others from top 5 (and probably top 10) have cited as an inspiration. Taylor said it multiple times, and recently in the caption of their photo from her movie premiere. She has also covered a Beyoncé song. Beyoncé not only influenced Rihanna, she also pushed her career by telling that Rihanna is "a beast" to important people. Rihanna even performed as a part of a Destiny's Child tribute early in her career. Drake has expressed his love for her numerous times, has a song titled "Girls Love Beyoncé" and has sampled Beyoncé's songs. Lady Gaga has not only collaborated with her twice (Drake did thrice) and expressed her admiration and acknowledged Beyoncé's influence, but she also mentioned how seeing Beyonce on TV made her want to be a popstar. It is truly deserved :clap3:

Well said.

They really forget that Beyoncé is their fave's fave. :alexz:

Beyoncé's biggest achievement truly is her PR team. Unfortunately for her it's very clear that hasn't translated into a lasting legacy as newer generations don't buy into her media hype

Idk how to explain it but between the recent PR surrounding her, her upcoming performance plans, and Jay-Z's speech/antics lately, I feel like we're being primed more than ever for a Cowboy Carter AOTY trophy even though it's a silly album

I'm assuming you forgot how when she dropped Self-Titled she shifted music release dates from Tuesdays to Fridays. Or how there were academic courses being offered at colleges once 'LEMONADE' was released. Did we not see all the parties and how the disco movement really took off once 'RENAISSANCE' came out? I'm sorry did we forget how she is the first and only

Black Woman to have a country song go number 1 on the BB Hot 100 as well as on the Country charts? You sound so dense and foolish.

Is it really that deep for some of yall? Beyoncé was BEYONCÉ before Taylor, and had maintained relevancy not often seen.

But beyond all that; this means nothing to either of them I promise you.

Yes, in fact I'm specifically talking about how forgotten everything that she does is despite the media trying to gaslight us into thinking she's something that she's not

That's not what Taylor thought and said in October 2023.

Quote

"I'm so glad I'll never know what my life would've been like without @beyonce's influence," Swift wrote. "The way she's taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit.

Um, she is one of the Top 10 best selling female artists ever, the most awarded female, the greatest performer, and one of the highest grossing. Let's not forget, she has influenced all the new girls.

Get over it

Half of Taylor's AOTY wins are "silly albums" so what is wrong with that?

Taylor praised Kim Petras and Charli XCX, she thanked Lana Del Rey after she won her 4th AOTY. None of that changes the reality
