20 years ago maybe :rip:

she has no actual talent, isn't critically acclaimed and hasn't been relevant nor important to music as a whole in like 15 years, be grateful she's even #6.

No talent??? Britney is a song writer, a dancer and it takes skill to be performer. Stop being a hater, its not cute. On top of those skills she grew up a gymnast, singer and plays the piano.

Dont assume you know everything about what britney can and cant do just because you're influenced by stan twitter. Grow up

and she's STILL sitting alongside your fave in all-time lists :toofunny3:

britney will ALWAYS be referred to as a legend, icon and the PRINCESS of pop by industry giants, her peers and new artists whether you like it or not

if that helps you sleep at night sure :rip:

Them not factoring her debut is crazy.

With her debur she would easily be top 3.

Billboard should stick to their flawed little charts, they don't know **** about actual music impact. Britney Spears you will ALWAYS be the greatest.

Well certainly the numbers from 2000 that came as a result of her debut should count, like baby one more time was selling still in 2000 alot. (If they dont already count in thos decision)

"She should be in the top 3",  replacing whom???? Bey, Taylor and Rihanna have all been bigger and more influential than her this century, so if we assume those 3 will be ranked high, whose spot is she taking? Let's engage our brains a bit, as hard as that is for her stans.

She deserved top 5 tbh.

Gaga above Britney is crazy :deadbanana2:

what is crazy about it? gaga has more talent, more acclaim, lasted longer, better albums, bigger hits, superior music videos i could go on and on

high school routines, playback and max martin can only get you so far

"hasn't been relevant nor important to music as a whole in like 15 years" yet your fave begs her to be in her music videos? Dumbass :rip:

Not relevant yet Halsey, Tate McRae, Megan Thee Stallion, JADE, Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Tyla, Ice Spice, Addison Rae, etc. have all either paid tribute to her or cited her as influence in the past 6 months alone. But sure, ATRL user ScorpiosGroove knows more than the music industry itself.

Yeah for sure, she should be way higher. At least top 15. The OOTB > TD > Prism run was so strong and she has like 10 massive classics between those 3 albums alone.
