Any idea what list they are taking about?

Sounds like they're teasing chart-based "the century so far" lists for sometime next year.

I don't want Taylor's vocals anywhere near this performance, but I was thinking... it could make for a special moment if she played her guitar for Bey, like she did for Madge in 2015. now THAT would be powerful. :jonny:

I want them to have a huge moment together. Taylor only playing guitar is not gonna cut it :tsk:

I've noticed many female artists that are pit against each other so viciously tend to avoid collabs.  Some of them because they take the bait and start to hate each other, but mostly because it's a lose-lose.

Sane fans might like it, but the psycho ones are the loudest and would turn it into something completely toxic I'm afraid.

Beyonce deserves the title for all the hard work she has put into her art and music on the last TWENTY FIVE years. That should never ever be disrespected.

Your work has not gone unnoticed :gaycat4:

That's true. I was really expecting Taylor to jump on the SIAK remix on BRAT this year but that didn't happen.

I don't really care about stan wars enough though and would love a TayxBey collab. We had that interaction at each other's premiers but that's not enough for me.

I think Bey and Taylor will take pics together at the Grammys to calm the stanbases lol.

All they really wrote is that it's actually Taylor, Beyonce is just old as dirt

Taylor is 35 this month. 35 and acts like a teen in a high school play

They did the "attending each other's premiers" for the exact same reason. At some point, they need to start ignoring the toxic parts of both bases. Toxic stans shouldn't be validated via those actions. They should give me, a hybrid fan, a collab :gaycat4:

Congratulations, Mother!

Beyonce has been a major force for my entire LIFE, there is simply no doubt that she deserved this #1. Her career has been nothing short of incredible. :clap3:

The only correct placement for Beyonce with all her talent, impact, stage charisma, rich discography and versatility :clap3:

I love that they make it very clear that Beyoncé constant slayage for basically the entire 25 years covered is a main reason for her placement at #1. Not only because it gives her objective advantage but also because is a legendary and unique feat, in this or in any other century lol. Respect :worship2:

Omg I fully expected Charli or Tinashe to take the top spot, this is a huge gag :jonny5:

Congrats Bey! Well deserved! :clap3:

Truly the GOAT. :clap3: Billboard listing all those receipts from over 25 years. Let's see if today's lot of artists can even come close to what she has done and still be on top 25+ years later.

Started out in a girl group, rebranded the girl group, went solo, came back to the girl group, to go on to be her own individual in music. The tenacity, the willpower, the ability to change with the music landscape and still be successful, the ability to not stick to one genre but open her mind to all of them and take a chance at doing them, and succeeding. Forever proud Hag Hive. I love this woman so much and so proud of her.

Deserved #1. I always think back to '4' and how everyone was going super dance-pop at the time but she stuck to making largely an R&B/Soul influenced album, and for me that was the moment it became clear she wasn't playing the usual pop star game, it was about pushing her artistry, and she's continued to reinvent herself and take huge risks with her sound, image, what she is outspoken about.

I do think Charli, Frank, Billie and Rosalia should've been on this list, but oh well.

Idc about the stan war, but Bey's article mentioning Taylor 13 times and all of them essentially saying she has the biggest career of the 21st century by every objective measure is pretty funny :deadbanana2:
