I do hope Bey brings her out for the Xmas performance. The entire world would be gagged :clap3:

I still remember people listening to Bodyguard and thinking Taylor was doing backing vocals on the track, I wish she would hop on Cowboy Carter's best track :jonny5: I won't get my hopes up, but that would be the gag of the century to be honest.

This is so incredibly stupid. Taylor is BY FAR the BIGGEST artist of last century. Beyonce doesn't touch her and has 0 relevancy

Dropping Taylor's name 13 times in an article celebrating Beyoncé's career, even outright calling her "the biggest popstar in the world." Oh Billboard.

EDIT: all these down votes and quotes when I was simply laughing at Billboard, not shading Beyoncé—who is in my top 10 most played artists of the year and all time. :rip:

Biggest doesn't mean the greatest.

Hope that helps! :giraffe:

Talent always wins isn't that how the saying goes?

Congrats to all the ladies who made the list.

Beyonce the legend you are. Your success can and cannot be measured at the same time. She got the awards, the sales, the talent, the acclaim, the quality, the impact. Ahhhh QUEEN!

Some of you need to learn how to read properly. This paragraph alone should put any stan war to rest forever. It's clear that Billboard thinks that Taylor is a bigger Global force when it comes to sales and touring, but they also think that Beyonce deserves the title for all the hard work she has put into her art and music on the last TWENTY FIVE years. That should never ever be disrespected.

Being #2 is not bad at all, by the way. Any of them could've won it but they decided to give it to Bey and this shouldn't even impact your life anyway :rip:

The full package. The standard and modern blueprint.

Not round 2 of more crying. Billboard gave y'all more than enough time to come to terms with this decision, good god let it go

Billboard adding that part about Taylor to try and explain to her militant fans WHY they made the choice... yet they still don't get it because they're too busy stomping their feet and punching at the air.

All they really wrote is that it's actually Taylor, Beyonce is just old as dirt

I feel like swiffers would have preferred Taylor being left out of the top 10. Something about being a VERY generous top #2 and #2 right under another woman, particularly a black one, has them ripping their straw hair out.

Taylor's really not far behind her at all in age; they're both millennials.

But by all means, let it all out.  I hope it makes your day a little better.

If you go by the sheer numbers, Taylor would easily top this list — and she will undoubtedly reign on many of the chart-based quarter-century rankings we'll publish in 2025. Even with her late start, she has more No. 1 albums and as many No. 1 singles this century as Beyoncé. More pressingly, the statistical heights she's reached are ones neither Bey nor any other artist this century can equal. She has seven million-selling first weeks, including for both 1989 *and* 1989 (Taylor's Version), as well as an unthinkable 2.61 million for this year's Poets; Bey has never moved a million units in a week. Poets and Cowboy Carter are both up for album of the year at the 2025 Grammys, but despite Beyoncé now being the most awarded artist in the show's history, Taylor is going for her record-extending fifth AOTY win and Bey still her first. The Eras Tour numbers have not yet been officially reported to Billboard Boxscore, but the final grosses are expected to dwarf not only the Renaissance World Tour, but every other tour in music history.

Any idea what list they are taking about?

I don't want Taylor's vocals anywhere near this performance, but I was thinking... it could make for a special moment if she played her guitar for Bey, like she did for Madge in 2015. now THAT would be powerful. :jonny:
