Wicked Posted August 5 Posted August 5 No and you know that but what does a film career have anything to do with her music career? 9 1 6

GraceRandolph Posted August 5 Author Posted August 5 Just now, Wicked said: It doesn't and the answer to the question is still no. Did The Bodyguard add nothing to Whitney Houston's legacy? Of course Gaga's film career is apart of her legacy. She has starred in a musical which gave her a #1 single, and Joker 2 is also a musical. 3 1
Funnyfatty Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Yes. Lady Gaga is indeed a legend. Not only for the music but also for being such a powerful ally behind the whole community. I can say that Doja Cat can be a legend later in her career because she has the good music, highly versatile, very talented and huge hits but she is clowning a while. Still doesn't take away that she is super talented.
TaylorsSquad Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Imagine thinking Gaga's a legend when she can't get solo hits anymore and has to rely on movies to carry her 3 1 1 4

The implication in the OP is that she is the only legend of the 21st century because of those things including a "legendary film career", something that also implies people like Kanye West and Beyonce aren't legends cause they don't have "legendary film careers". Now you're going to quote me saying you never said that when the post opens with "She's the only artist I can think of to have the following...". 2 2

Kanye is a Nazi, and Beyonce debuted in the 90s according to most people on this site. 1

blackoutbaby Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Just now, GraceRandolph said: Is Rihanna's legendary talent in the room with us? She's a legend whether you like it or not. Her #1 hits, staying power, and influence not only on music but in fashion and beauty trends are evidence of this. Of course a Little Monster is coming for a black woman's status as a legend, though. 9 2 1
