Many people in this forum would consider her lead single as a successful lead single.  Do you disagree or are you just trying to be argumentative.

Yes and most people consider that lead single aka Texas Hold Em as her only successful lead single streaming wise. It was the only one that has had very strong streams on Spotify her entire career. Beyonce isn't a streaming act, hell even several K-Pop groups have stronger performing lead singles than Beyonce on Spotify. Taylor aka the streaming giant beating Beyonce in streams isn't indicative of anything. It would be equivalent to saying "Taylor Swift sold more albums than PinkPantheress so her album smashed." That wouldn't make any sense.

That's been pretty much her entire career after 1989

I'd say from folklore onwards because neither reputation or lover are Lana-like lol

she wasn't chasing the charts with this single. It's one of her least commercial singles ever.

I rather sell 5m than 1 hit song and sell 100k.

It doesn't sound as summer hit and honestly it doesn't sound as a big smash tbh. But I still love it and have in on repeat.

recently only heard blank space or cruel summer on my shopping mall leisure time, all her songs sound the same satire old structure and tbf it's not a hit outside of fanbase.

It's the definition of a bland song but it's the only decent single option from the album
