Don't get me wrong, it's great but it sounds « flat » compared to the 1st single, Cowboy and this new snippet.

 

I'm still WHORING Midnight Cowboy as we speak for example… such a CRAZY track! I love it! Fantasy is too « « mid tempo » for me and I need bangers from Jade.

 

However let me know you. If this is all part of an album, OMG she's definitely releasing ALBUM of 2025 with NO F DOUBT

Tbh I think it will come down to the tracklisting... it might make more sense once we have the album as an entire body of work.

She clearly wanted to have a song that might appeal to the moms and the GP.

I loved the it girl snippet but I'm not feeling the showbiz one at all. I wanted that high energy, gay banger sound throughout but we'll see.

I like it, personally. Feels very 'Angel Of My Dreams', I like the contrast, the verses hit harder when the beat drops.

I think that's why I don't like it. Whilst I appreciate she is curating her own staple sound, the contrast as you say, i don't think it works here, it's too much of a contrast that it sounds like 2 songs whereas AOMD found a good balance. 

 

It's a short snippet either way so she will likely surprise amd shut me up

I think that the snippets don't always provide the full context, I'm sure the full thing will sound and feel much more connected. I am excited for this and feel like it would have been the perfect follow up to AOMD, but better late than never. I think people are going to eat this up.

It's Showbiz Baby. The first scene of Midnight Cowboy shows a man cleaning broken plates off the floor whilst Showbiz's hook is playing.
