She way she did everything her stans asked for, came back with long black hair, sexualized, with Dr. Luke and still bombed.

Because at least they were getting decent songs and potential hits, not a subpar song like this. The way they did every step except RELEASING GOOD MUSIC, they deserve this level of flopping for being so dumb :deadbanana2:

Literally, 60% of everyone who listened to the song on its first day simply NEVER came back for a second listen. This is insane.

She doesn't have the biggest pop playlists. So It was people listening once and then bye. With TTH 3 days would have happened.

Then still bye

Katy as a stan of a former 98-OUT chanteuse I would say there is hope on the other side, but this is your end.

The way Mariah's and Ariana's flop remix overperformed this one.

She probably won't even debut on Hot 100 - just tell public it's a promo single and move on quickly to the "official" first single

This disaster is truly what she deserves, and I hope she learns from her mistakes.

Pray that Taylor doesn't drop anywhere near her release date.

Oh trust me, this is the LAST of Katy's concerns at this point. When your lead single bomb THAT hard, a #1 album is basically impossible to obtain. Miley had a massive hit single with Flowers and her album only debuted at #3 :rip:

What supieses me more is how many people were so quick to dog on droplet and Smile era Katy claiming this would be a huge comeback. Like NRO was a moderate hit, Daisies did something, and HIH has carried the era to respectable streaming stats. Her being able to replicate that would have been a win, but it looks like that will not be the case.

Yeah, and all of that without pushing those songs like she's doing with WW. The songs were just really that good for them to do at least something on their own. This is not the case right now :rip:

This is unfathomable... This is one of the rare occurrences where we might actually be witnessing a point-of-no-return type career-ending single

And I actually really love the song, I have no idea why it's doing that bad.

I'm also very conflicted on whether I feel bad for her because I love Katy and I wanted her to have a comeback, but... Luke...

This is what is deserved and hopefully this now means it won't debut on the Hot 100 because it damn well shouldn't.

The numbers of the first  single are dramatic. Can only get worst. Now i'm thinking It's hard for the album to get even 35k opening. Imo She will fight for a top10 debut.

This is completely deserved. I really thought she was finally going to comeback in full form and take her career seriously again, but she once AGAIN centers her era around being "camp" and a "joke" when it has not worked for her for 10 YEARS :deadbanana4: She keeps beating a dead horse and I can't believe she thought running to Luke with the same failing formula was going to magically work this time.

At first I felt bad about how much she was flopping, but now I just think she's moronic and her entire team is too. She's going to be pushing Madonna's age in the future still releasing "funny" and "camp" music videos. Her last good and mature music video was what... TOTGA? That's just so embarrassing.

It's funny you think Katy is gonna have label money for MVs...unless she pays out of her pocket, the budget for the next video is probably two pennys
