Is "cardigan" Taylor Swift's best song?

Objectively speaking, when it comes to songwriting, delivery, production, imagery, the bridge, etc., is "cardigan" Taylor's best song? If not, what is your favorite and why?

All Too Well is objectively Taylor's best song.

As for my favorite, that would be either Safe & Sound or Sad Beautiful Tragic.

Not when "Champagne Problems" exists

I like champagne problems, but I just fear cardigan's dreamy production gets me more :jonny5: the production really feels like a fairytale

I fear 5 minutes is better, but I enjoy the 10 minutes more. 5 minutes version feels like it's missing something.

Begin Again is an 11/10 :clap3:

All Too Well is just a 13/10 though, I fear :lakitu:

how do you even decide what's objectively good

better lyrics, better production and delivery overall. But I guess that could be subjective too :bird:

There's no piano, no soft vocals, it's too fast. It's got nothing that makes a song great.

Yes, cardigod is an undefeatable stone cold classic.

I've noticed a lot of non-fans seems to think so and I'm curious as to why? Is it because it's a single and they're less exposed to the deep-cuts? I wouldn't put cardigan in the top half of folklore in my ranking tbh :dies: I like it, but she has better ones.

It's going to be one of her classics, because it is stunning song, but I would lie if I didn't say she has plenty on the same stunning level across folklore and other albums too. :clap3:
