Gaia Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Fun fact: Gracie Abrams opened for the Eras Tour and just released a track featuring the alleged music industry herself, Taylor Swift. A double whammy! Somehow it only debuted at #25 on Spotify WW and even missed out on the Top 10 in the US at #12. We've been told time and time again by a specific fanbase that opening for the eras tour makes careers so why is she still struggling even with a Taylor feature and eras tour hype? 4 6 14
TitanicSurvivor Posted June 22 Posted June 22 No matter how big your featured artists, how massive the tour you are opening, nothing can buy you a talent.
Popular Post drip drop Posted June 22 Popular Post Posted June 22 (edited) she's a talentless indie voice cursive girl with notes app lyrics that only white girls go crazy over. so... was she supposed the get #1 or what? also the song that will get the most streams is a copy of melodrama... so... again... your father can be some famous director but he can't buy you streams or talent Edited June 22 by drip drop 10 1 4
Billionaire Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Daddy's money can only get you so far She has no semblance of personality and her music isn't all that different from the legion of cursive singing sad girls that have emerged within the past half a decade or so 6 1
JO1s Posted June 22 Posted June 22 You're literally contradicting yourself because wtf is a gracie abrums? 1

CottageHore Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Nobody is here for a Shein version of Lorde. Her music and the intentional way she sings is a carbon copy of Melodrama and she's not giving us anything new or interesting. Even Taylor's fans don't give a ****. 1
halcyonday Posted June 22 Posted June 22 that's amazing for her standards tho??? thank you taylor indeed 1
Popular Post Taylena Posted June 22 Popular Post Posted June 22 OP is losing it because some Swifties have suggested that Taylor might be responsible for some of Sabrina's recent success. 22
Mitsuki Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Amazing numbers for someone I found out about the existence last year 1
piotrert Posted June 22 Posted June 22 It was the biggest female collaboration that was released yesterday
BlackoutZone Posted June 22 Posted June 22 The song is terrible and it doesn't help that she's talentless 2 2
Peak Now Posted June 22 Posted June 22 3 minutes ago, halcyonday said: that's amazing for her standards tho??? thank you taylor indeed Yeah lol, Gracie Abrams literally had a total of 1 entry on Spotify Global before this and that was Close To You (#41) which came out June 7, and Close To You was also her first solo entry on the Hot 100 And she's the highest global debut this Friday as well (and 2nd behind Post Malone in the US), so I don't see how this isn't a win for her 1 1
Digitalism Posted June 22 Posted June 22 (edited) See with Sabrina the music is kinda good but basic but she is a star. She is cute, she is talented and had that disney background. She was also under everyones radar because the Olivia situation. So it wasn't just Taylor. With Gracie I don't think her music is that bad, It's just that people don't connect with HER. Her rich nepo baby personality doesn't help at all Edited June 22 by Digitalism
WildHeart Posted June 22 Posted June 22 This is her biggest debut ever so how is that helping your point?
iamanearthling Posted June 22 Posted June 22 25 looks better than 47 no? I thought Taylor was ended? What happened? 1
Donquizote Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Just listened to that song. It's cute but too bland and boring. No longevity
FolkLover1989 Posted June 22 Posted June 22 (edited) Insanity indeed The way OTH have totally lost it Now #25 debut for Gracie of all artist is bad I hate to tell you but Aaron and Bon Iver collab with Taylor didn't even get this much. Lol Edited June 22 by FolkLover1989 2
