Halsey - "Lucky"

I don't like it... It's hard to say it as a fan but it's not it. If I wanted to listen to Lucky by Brit I would just play it. The use was so bored and tired. Very dissapointed as I liked the aesthetics and instrumental is cute. I liked The End more, actually.

It had potential, I like the production, but it kinda goes nowhere..

Awful choice for a first single.

This… is okay? It's a bit clunky and the sample doesn't really work. I think it would be fine if it had an original chorus. The thing I'm the most disappointed about is that the synth/melody in the intro isn't used throughout the whole song, I love it so much it's so dreamy and nostalgic. It's an okay song overall but that's it.

This goes nowhere. And the start is so boring and bland. I expected more

It´s not as bad as I had feared

but unless it makes the album

I wouldn´t listen to it again

it's cute but its not giving lead single like what radio will play this

What a lazy ass excuse for a song. One thing is making a sample, another one is literally copying the ENTIRE chorus of a far better song. This is Ava Max-level uninspired :dies:

I feel like she's become very monothematic and one-dimensional. Same issue as Katy Perry, but under the guise of an ~indie~ artist despite having the same label and payola

Can't believe the end would be a better choice for the lead in the end :deadbanana: this goes nowhere

How did she make a Y2K-inspired song sound so... boring? :skull:

I love everything about this except the chorus, which only exists as Tik Tok bait. She did not need to do that.

why would i listen to a carbon copy of gotta be and brit's lucky when i can listen to the originals :skull: so lazy and redundant.

I wanted to like this, but it just doesn't go anywhere at all.

I love it

I see all of your complaints here, but after reading what she has been through in the last years, The End lyrics etc., her putting it all into music, while using Lucky's sample as one of her favorite songs ... I don't know, it really clicks with me, that she has done the music she wanted to do

Nice tune tbh. Very chill. But I don't see it become a hit.

I love this. I do hear Angel of Mine.

Kinda just makes me want to listen to Britney's :deadbanana4:

Love halsey but I don't think I'll play this again. Same as her last single.
