At the rate she is going, and we all know she's not about to take a giant break, she will likely be #2 of all-time by the end of the decade.

She's made her mark as one of the best selling artists of all time but at what cost?

 

It just feels meaningless because of the variants she released and her capitalist mindset. The artistry is empty, the complexity is nowhere to be found, and risks have no place in her mind. It's just materialistic brain rot.

 

When comparing her to the other artists, they all have artistic quality. Taylor simply exists. A billionaire with significant sales but nothing else. She has no musical legacy.

This isn't SPS, it's Chartmasters methodology which is based on made-up estimates by a Swiftie (his own words)

By a swiftie? The person who runs chartmasters used to hate her and dismissed her everytime that he had chance.

That user has posted AI images of Taylor getting killed when Taylor was in Brazil with her tour. The fact they're still allowed to infest every single Taylor related thread and be in this forum is appalling to me. Me "insulting" them (calling them for what they are) is the least.

You realize artists have always done things similar to variants throughout history, right? Look up how many compilation albums The Beatles and Michael Jackson put out. Major artists back in the day would repackage their music and rerelease them nonstop to increase their numbers. It’s nothing new. With streaming, these tactics are less meaningful than ever because a good chunk of listeners don’t even buy music in any capacity. 

 

The only people who are having conversations about variants at length are members of stan culture. No one in the real world cares or even knows what’s going on.
