Taylor doing an average of 10k per variant :clap3:

So, she only has 2.3 variants then? Cause the majority of this is streaming, where ~variants~ don't matter

Taylor hasn't shipped anything since the fifth week, all the new variants from the past couple of weeks are yet to be shipped physicals, otherwise there would be a significant increase in pure, but wouldn't expect anyone that lacks braincells to realize that :celestial5:

Maybe no one bought the latest variants.

All this talk about variants but TTPD still hasn't been defeated a single week in streaming. :coffee2:

Charli did really good! :clap3:

TBT to Meghan terrorizing the charts 10 years ago while Charli kind of flopped with Sucker. Time tells all. :gaycat5:

Charli ended Millie Bobby Brown's father in law.

Please, each one is getting sold out in the matter of minutes, everyone is lucky that they limit them to extremely small amounts, otherwise every single variant would make more damage on it's own than entire releases...

With Birds going viral on tiktok, I wonder whether Billie can pull another 100K next week :jonny5:

Another #1 week :clap3:

Hope Taylor can maintain it until July when Luke releases :bird:

I'm sure she can work some magic to get there :gaylorcat2:

This is my issues with her number one chart run . Multiple variants, multiple tricks that are only distractions to how successful the album is. She might have spent less weeks at number one (and no one cares) but the album would still have been massive without all these tricks. Adele 21 didn't have to pull any tricks to spent those multiple weeks at number one, it just happened. Taylor success is largely organic that the absence of multiple variants and all the tricks wouldn't change anything in the grand scheme of things

Recent releases with similar amount of tracks are no where to be found in the top 20, therefore, is that excuse really valid?

If they are not in the top 20 they are no longer relevant. However, it definitely makes a difference to Billie, who has 10 tracks. She is basically competing with 3 albums when it comes to streaming. Billboard should really count a maximum of 12 tracks per album for the charts.

In history books, the only part noted will be total number of weeks on top

Nobody was even comparing overall pure sales but a 1k difference for this week when your 10 track album is up against a 31 track album + the 20 other extra variation of tracks tacked onto limited timed CD, vinyl, and cassette variants is definitely impressive.

Stay on topic next time.

my understanding is those variant sales are being held back so she can STOMP on others 4th, 5th and 6th weeks right?

So what is it: does she "sell 10k per variant", or "no one bought the latest"? Like, pick a struggle.

Billie might eventually hit #1

If it wasn't for the Taylor domination, Billie would've been #1 for weeks

No variation has been shipped since they were fighting for the #1 spot. And the amount of tracks has nothing to do with the pure sales.
