I would say Artpop for sure. It was shocking to see her go from the most famous female on the planet at the time to someone nobody cares about and practically Miley Cyrus took the attention that same year.

I think she very successfully moved from being a "just" pop singer to quite respected singer due to  her albums and residency with  Tony Bennett and actress as well.

 

There is no downfall, she just expanded the territory.

The vmas performance in 2013, vevo presents, the overall looks and performances came across as trying "too much" with no clear direction. While I had so much fun listening to artpop, I feel like the vision got lost and clearly the rollout changed… aura should have been a lead single and renaissance type of visuals would have suit the era better. G.u.y (visually) is the closest to what I hoped Artpop would be. Overall it just didn't resonate with most of the people and even fans… you can tell she was not in the right place with her team!
