Great808 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 One less vote for Biden is one more vote for Trump. And we love it 4
ks_dollar Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I don't understand the support for this sentiment. Biden is bad, but he's clearly the lesser of the two evils. If Trump wins, you contributed to that victory and making the US even worse by not voting. 3 1

raisetheroof Posted May 16 Posted May 16 People who choose not to vote because they're disappointed in Biden for supposedly doing "too little" are some of the most foolishly idiotic imbeciles walking this earth. These people had astronomically high expectations for what Biden could achieve in a single term. Even so, Biden did accomplish a TON. He expanded healthcare coverage, effectively halved childhood poverty, and passed a long-overdue infrastructure package. He secured the largest climate investment in global history, tightened gun regulations, and safeguarded LGBTQ+ rights by codifying gay marriage into law. On reproductive rights, he fought as hard as he could at the federal level given the constraints. He advanced criminal justice reform, pardoned a bunch of people locked up for simple marijuana possession, and more. The American political system simply forces a choice between the lesser of two evils. If you're disappointed with Biden and choose not to vote, you're not just making a passive choice; you're actively favoring a potential leader whose policies may completely counter your own values. If you disagree with Biden on 50% of his policies but skip voting, you're essentially endorsing someone you might disagree with 100% of the time Like politics are not that complicated Especially I see this argument with regard to support for Netanyahu and Israel. However, even there Trump's stance is much more aligned with Netanyahu than Biden's. Opting out is a direct boost for policies you may oppose. Voting isn't just about perfect alignment but choosing the direction that best aligns with your values and the greater good. 2 5 4

Album Leak Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Voting for someone isn't endorsing their policies, it's ultimately about voting against someone who could potentially be worse/is worse. I hope Americans know this.
