Let's be ALL the way honest here, Ice Spice was NEVER going to be that girl and was NEVER that girl. She hyped by one certain fanbase because they thought she was going overtake certain other girls and jump to the top of the rap girl food chain and now they don't even use her.

This shouldn't be surprising to anyone  Ice Spice was never meant to last. She has limited vocabulary and creativity. (hence why she constantly talks about poop & farts)

what downfall. she has never been a consistent hitmaker, her biggest hits were all collabs.

I mean…I agree.  But she arguably had one of the best setups for a great career out of all the new rap girls.  Nicki co-sign, fashion brands, Barbie soundtrack, viral hits, etc. People thought she was about to be "the new Cardi" (I knew better, but still).  
 

The fact that she's on the outs with Nicki and Cardi now  on top of recent flops…loss after loss.

New York Drill is never going to be a thing outside of the city. It doesn't work,it's too one note and derivative.
