Nice to see Fortnight hold so well. I hope it stays strong in streams and quickly rises in radio points so it has a shot at being a long-running #1, maybe even her longest. But I wouldn't mind seeing Sabrina snatch at least week at #1 at some point, she deserves it after working hard to really make it big for so long.

Definitely is getting help from autoplay, but so is Fortnight and other top songs.

People use the term to minimize the success of songs but the thing with autoplay is that it only increases exposure. It doesn't create valid listens that don't exist. Autoplay puts the song in front of people and then they decide whether they listen to it (and they have to listen to at least 30 seconds of the song for it to count), as well as if it has any replay value.

 

It can't make a flop a hit (particularly pushing it to the top 5) if it's not genuinely resonating with people.

Hoping she can snatch a week at #1 in June. She deserved it, saw her at The Eras Tour Singapore and she has the charisma to make it and expresso is such a fun bop.

Fortnight is absolutely massive.

 

There isnt really that much more room for Espresso to grow on streaming and radio isnt looking that amazing so far. Of course it could, but it could absolutely get blocked

Not to mention that Shaboozey could also be a massive threat in the coming weeks even if Fortnight ends up falling off. Both Espresso and Bar Song are worth keeping an eye on imo

So espresso is doing worse than 10 album tracks on AM, even 8 days since their releases, but is all the way at #2 on a different platform? 
 

do you not see the discrepancies and the contradiction in your own words? It's almost like one placement is boosted by a special service offered on a platforms, the other one is where it would've been organically without it.
