americanshameless Posted June 16 Share Posted June 16 Few things This was my most anticipated release this year. I like it, not wowed by it by any means but it's a nice effort. The vocals are processed chile, I agree with one of the reviews that said it sounds lowkey anonymous. All the **** she said she could write a book about, why not put it one of the songs to add some vulnerability? But considering what she probably went through BTS and how little they're funding the girl she did her best. True but the difference is Chloe didn't release any of her original singles like treat me or have mercy (which was and is the stupidest decision I've seen an artist make) Normani put her highest charting single with a cardi b feature on this album. Normani will be fine. Also, "Motivation" was part of her first contract period so even though it's not on her debut album per se, it will still count when they tally up how much the 'era' has made. Idk what the contracts were like for "Love Lies" and "Dancing with a Stranger" but it's possible they will also see $$$ from those songs as well.
