No conflict of interest there at all 2

The writers from Pitchfork are just not the demographic that listens to Taylor. Besides, Pitchfork would get more views to their page if they give Taylor a low score than a high one, since their regular viewers are the opposite of swifties. what are you basing this on

Shameless. I'd love to know what are the discussions around this in RS office. Maybe they will get a cut from the book sales?
Uncatena Posted April 23 Posted April 23 that thing with Rolling Stone is truly shameless i- so unprofessional imo
kellysclarkson Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Quote Her melodies feel staid, like they are made to fit the music, rather than the other way around. I feel this deeply, I love some of the lyrics on the album but they feel like they don't melodically stick which makes the lyrics harder to learn and recall too. Interestingly, on the 1989 (Deluxe) voice memos two of them are pre-written by Taylor and brought to the producers - Blank Space (Max Martin/Shellback) and I Know Places (Ryan Tedder) whereas the third, written to track - I Wish You Would was produced by Jack so there is evidence for the statement.

She's like the McDonalds of pop, churning out songs like burgers McDonald's sells trash, but at least it's cheap and a tasty guilty pleasure. Taylor Swift branded trash on the other hand... both stupidly overpriced and as bland as boiled potatoes. 1

Hephaestus Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Pitchfork is crazy tbh. TTPD is not a masterpiece but it for sure deserved an higher score than Midnights
