Apparently Jann Wenner, the co-founder of Rolling Stone who was also on the board of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and went viral last year for being racist and sexist trash (leading to him being dumped by the Hall), had a personal hatred of Cher and kept her off the shortlist and the cover of Rolling Stone all these years. Of course she makes the list the first year he’s not there to do anything about it.
 

I wonder if there are others he’s been sabotaging.
