Is there anyone left to review? Seems like 76 it is.

A 76 would be a 56 before Poptimism, intimidation, bribes and threats. This album is in Chris Brown & JLO territory :clap3:

Well, MIDnights had 28 reviews and TTPD has 23... the 5 left better review it if that 76 is going down:ryan3:

I clicked on the AOTY link and it being #186 / 212 for 2024 is sending me :deadbanana4:

Not even top100 best albums released this year asdfghjklpnbg/

i feel like this is more an indictment of the state of music journalism than the album, 70 out of 100 puts it as one of the lowest rated albums of the year???

As a Swiftie, 76 is a fairly accurate score. Maybe it should be a little less even.

Well yes, most scores have been highly inflated over the last 5 years or so, we already knew this.

I still find its placement funny though, like, it's not even May :dies:

Her and Drake are on equal footing: the most streamed but also the most bland, insipid and awful mediocrity who pump out trash as often as I go to the toilet to take a dump.

I read that she said she didn't like any of the songs and that she prefers not to upload the reaction to YouTube because it's better not to disrespect the artist.

The Wal-Mart of pop.

The Netflix of pop.

The public bathroom of pop.

They have the same problem too: thinking every song they touch needs to be released. If they released new material every 2-3 years with just the 15 best songs of that period they would be doing much better.

Ill help you out (even tho I dont have the exact numbers):

Imagine in 1988 a Pop Album placing #200 in APRIL of that year, it probably would've scored a 58 or so.

In 2024, an album that placed like that received a 76 score.

Seeing how every one and their mamas receives 70+ scores these days (Tyla, Tate McRae, almost Peppa Pig), its fair to say that Taylor benefits from crazy poptism and asskissing these days.

You are welcome. I gladly help in my fav thread these days

so it's not "highly acclaimed" who cares? anything above 70 is good to me. you have 30 songs to enjoy. meanwhile Gaga refuses to release any music that isn't listened to in a geriatrics ward, and Mariah has become christmas 24/7. I would kill for one of them to give me a 30 song album

the next few reviews are going to be bombs - her AOTY score (which is what we should be using, not metacritic) is about to hit the 60's :foxaylove2:
