Beyonce starts conversations about culture that are bigger than her music which gives her a big omnipresence and greater star power as a result, but this doesn't necessarily mean it's going to translate to commercial success. Case in point all the discussion around black people in country music with Cowboy Carter - THE could've bombed and we'd still be having those discussions regardless

 

What are people talking about when it comes to Taylor that has nothing to do with her music and the success and popularity it's given her? I can think of the ownership of masters but that's it, and even then that was a marketing ploy

How can you say a pop star is more interesting when they can't even sell their music? Make it make sense.

 

Ariana, Dua, Katy, Gaga, and Selena all released music about their exes. Did you drag them too when they released their albums??

Again the question was in comparison to Beyoncé, who has more talent in her left thumb that Taylor, asking why she doesn't sell as much. And I gave an answer in reference to that question. If the question was why Ariana cant sell as much as Taylor or any other white artist, then my answer would be different because then I'd be referencing the question at hand.

Obviously Taylor is not successful solely because she's white, she's brilliant in everything she does

 

But anyone thinking her and someone like Beyonce have the same reach is literally insane

 

No matter how much Beyonce perfects her craft and how many quality albums she puts out

 

She will never ever have the same reach Taylor has because her skin color is a huge limiting factor

 

That's why Bey is an absolute legend and the biggest legend of the last few decades because of how many barriers she has been able to break

Taylor Swift stans will never admit the reason why she has the success lol. It's not because she is a white woman. It's because she is a white woman that is not a threat. Taylor Swift is not an unattractive woman at all but let's be real here. If Tay was this out of this world Gorgeous Woman/Sexy woman she wouldn't have these huge sales.
