So what's the sound like

midnight? Folklore,

those who listen what do you describe the sound to

Sis read the thread. It's Midnights the most sonically and melodically.

And this limp ass climax on The Smallest Man, I really thought I was about to get some guitar and edge.

I'll tell you one thing, my good name it's mine alone to disgrace I don't cater to all these vipers dressed in emperors clothing

God save the most judged-mental creeps who say they want the best for me, sanctimoniously preforming soliloquies I'll never see. Thinking it can change the beat of my heart when he touches me and counter act the chemistry and undo the destiny"

i am on my 4th listen and would describe the sound as very midnights-centric with a little bit more diversity than that album had. there are traces of folkmore here but the majority of it sounds like midnights i'd say! with longer songs and bridges and a bit more experimentation than midnights had.

I'm cackling because I know 100% that an ATRL mod asked for the ***** *******! Does one need to spill in order to get the 1000+ back?!

But Daddy I Love Him IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS SHE EVER DONE. SHE DRAGGED THOSE WEIRD SWIFTIES

It's also the most country influenced song so far too imo.

Who's Afraid of Big Reputation? oh the album track that you are

I paragraphed the So Long, London lyrics that u can find on Reddit

Spoiler

I saw in my mind ferry lights through the mist
I kept calm and carried the weight of the rift
Pulled him in tighter each time he was drifting away

My spine split from carrying us up the hill
Wet through my clothes, weary bones caught the chill
I stopped trying to make him laugh, stopped trying to drill the safe

Thinking how much sad did you think I had, did you think I had in me?
Oh the tragedy. So long London.
You'll find someone.

I didn't opt in to be your odd man out
I founded the club she's heard great things about
I left all I knew you left me at the house by the Heath

I stopped CPR, after all it's no use
The spirit was gone we would never come to
And I'm pissed off you let me give you all that youth for free

For so long, London Stitches undone
Two graves, one gun I'll find someone

And you say I abandoned the ship but I was going down with it
My white knuckle dying grip holding tight to your quiet resentment
And my friends said it isn't right to be scared
Every day old love affair, every breath feels like rarest air
When you're not sure if he wants to be there

So how much sad did you think I had, did you think I had in me?
How much tragedy?
Just how low did you think I'd go 'fore I'd self implode?
'Fore I'd have to go be free?

You swore that you loved me but where were the clues?
I died on the altar waiting for the proof
You sacrificed us to the gods of your bluest days

And I'm just getting colour back into my face
I'm just mad as hell cause I loved this place for

So long, London
Had a good run
A moment of warm sun
But I'm not the one
So long, London
Stitches undone
Two graves, one gun
You'll find someone

I take back what I said about but daddy I love him. I still think the way Taylor addressed the controversy was tone-deaf, but the songs reminds me of Speak Now era Taylor and I can't stop listening to it :gaycat6:

People who love bejeweled (me) will also love I can do it with a broken heart.

guilty as sin is the one that immediately stuck out to me. I hope it's the lead.

I mean, kindly mention those 3 groundbreaking albums. Maybe I'd like to hear the albums, which is the aotys according to you😘

I feel like you're trying to bait me into saying a particular album and this isn't the thread for that

Spoiler

But its the only thats transforming and disrupting a popular genre of music and launching the careers of several underrated artists in said genre. :celestial5:

The worsts of Midnights. Very monotone whereas the previous album had highlights and more experimental tracks. This just feels very copy/paste. Some may say even plagiarized. :-x

Lord I've been gone 6 months and your still here obsessing over Taylor and pretending to give some review as if anyone cares, do you not get bored of ruining peoples fun? Also funny how you turned yourself into a bey fan after she had another repeak

Nah I'm genuinely asking. You don't need to be indirect if you're so confident in the albums that you claim are groundbreaking.

I begged for years for her to give us immature, homewrecker, sexist, Speak Now lyrics.

And she delivered, except she was dragging me this time.

i'm pretty sure "fresh out the slammer" is her refering to her relationship with joe as a prison ("years of labor, locks and ceilings, in the shade of how he was feeling but it's gonna be alright, i did my time") and saying how once she got out of that relationship, she reached out and ran to someone she already had a past fling or feelings for in the past, which is probably matty ("now pretty baby i'm running back home to you, fresh out the slammer i know who my first call will be to") :chick1:

there are so many songs for him :rip:
