MatiRod Posted February 23 Share Posted February 23 (edited) I don't think there will be a pre-album single because she doesn't need it to hype up the album, just like with Midnights, where expectations are so sky high that anything less than one of her best songs ever could actually hurt the first week sales (which ironically "Anti-Hero" was and as such would've actually worked as a pre-album single). It's smarter to just let it come out, have 2-3 videos ready for the most obvious hits, and whatever smashes hardest can then be sent to radios along with the video.
