Down Bad clean version sounds so much cleaner! Can't wait for it to be a single.

I really love Down Bad, especially for how I relate so badly to the lyrics and that bridge, wow, make a bridge Alison!!!!!

I look in people's windows
Transfixed by rose golden glows
They have their friends over to drink nice wine
I look in people's windows
In case you're at their table
What if your eyes looked up and met mine
One more time

Even though it's not one of my faves I feel like the GP is vibing with the overall message of the song as well

I feel like I'm in the minority here. I really like the production but my issue is her writing and melodies. I feel like she had a better ear for melodies at 18 which is crazy. Everything is just a run on sentence now... she's not even singing half the time.

I can feel it comin', hummin' in the way you move
Push the reset button, we're becoming something new
Say you got somebody, I'll say, "I got someone too"
Even if it's handcuffed, I'm leaving here with you

Bygones will be bygone eras fadin' into gray (fadin' into gray)
We broke all the pieces but still want to play the game (oh)
Told my friends, "I hate you but I love you just the same"
Pick your poison, babe
I'm poison either way

Melodies of part 2 are very solid and better than what you can find in 3 consecutive albums of the average pop songwriter out there.

The first has different melodies cause artists tries new things and different ways to write, at least the ones last more than 4 years for this reason.

The way this album is a grower. Might it be related that we have to listen 31 songs?
Every time I heard it once more, I get one detail or a lyrics or a melody I have not seen before

What is this piano at CoSaCoMa? :jonnycat:

I recommend everyone to listen to these songs in this order at least once: Down Bad > imgonnagetyouback > Guilty as Sin

She's been many places with
Men of many faces
First, they're off to the races
And she's laughing drawin' aces

But, none of it is changin'
That the chariot is waitin'
Hearts are hers for the breakin'
There's an escape in escaping

That piano pulls me in just like the one in cardigan, it's a hypnotic trance of sadness and excellence
